DEBATE: which is the best Paper Mario game?

The original, TTYD, SPM au SS?

Personally, my favourite is TTYD, though I do upendo the original as well. I just adore the partners in TTYD so much... especially the baby yoshi!! Each character just seemed to have a sufficient amount of depth.

WARNING: if wewe like SPM and don't like hearing people bash it, I suggest wewe stop kusoma now, because a big rant is coming up.

Oh, SPM... whenever I think about it, I simply want to cry. Just like with Skyward Sword - but that is another story. The characters in SPM... the partners wewe travel with... where are their personalities? Where are their souls? They symbolize the whole game, really - bland. I feel like they dummed it down a lot, so 'little kids could understand'. Gah - I hate that! Most of us on here loved things like Ocarina of Time when we were kids, right? Not to mention it stopped being 3D. Why would wewe do that!? Why would wewe make a game series that went BACKWARDS in quality like that!? Yes there's a MODE wewe can go into where wewe can walk around freely for a limited amount of time, but I'm pretty sure everyone was perfectly happy with the way things were with that. Were they trying to be clever, au something? Doesn't seem very clever to me... Also, I don't like the way they make everything square (e.g. the mti leaves). I think they're too hard to be 'fresh' and 'original'. It looks ugly, in my opinion. I guess its only saving grace is that wewe get to play as Bowser, peach, pichi and Luigi... but still, I don't think it makes up for the lack of soul.
