So, um... I was told to review a Pewdiepie playthrough of the Witch's House, even though I told myself that I'm not supposed to review reviewers, and Pewdiepie is technically a reviewer so I can't review this. However, I can review the game itself, The Witch's House. but before I do, I have to make a short statement on Pewdiepie... Pewdiepie's funny, okay, now the review
The Witch's House is a Japanese game that was then translated to English. It is about a gmae where wewe [lay as a young girl named Viola that gets trapped in a... well, obviously, a witch's house. So, wewe now have to escape kwa solving puzzles throughout the house. Now, the house has lots of deadly puzzles. And there are a lot of ways to die in this house. Snakes, poison, knifes, falling grandfather clocks, skulls, the Mona Lisa, teddt bears and even kusoma a book??? Like I said, a Japanese game. (Note: This is not a racist joke. I apologize if anyone who happens to be Japanese took offense to that joke) Though, even though there are some strange things trying to kill you, the things that try to kill wewe are actually done creativly. The monsters that try to kill wewe actually are based off the puzzle wewe just solved. But, as wewe continue through the house, wewe read these diaries written kwa the Witch herself. They say that the Witch killed her parents, and then got a sickness that kept her in her kitanda until a girl came kwa and she aliiba her body. So, once wewe find the Witch, wewe find that she took the body of a eyeless, legless girl, and then she chases you. And, I have to admit, she's pretty quick for legless girl. But, also, this is the only time that the game actually shows wewe a cutscene to onyesha your dead. If the Witch catches you, it ashows a cutscene of her killing you, unlike the other deaths before this, and trust me, due to the lack of time your given, wewe will see every way to die in this game. Anyway, once wewe get out of the house, your treated to one of the three endings in this game. Now, I have seen every ending, and I'm going to tell wewe them all
1: wewe get out of the house, your father finds you, he shoots and kills the witch, and wewe go home. A happy ending. Sadly, I can't say the same for the next
2: Be warned, this is the most depressing ending I've ever seen to any game anywhere. so, wewe get out, only to find out that the Witch is chasing you. so, viola stabs the Witch with a knife. But, then she starts talking about how viola is actually the witch and that she took Viola's body and traded it to the real Viola. Soon, Viola's father comes by. Now, the real Viola trys to tell her father its really her, only to get killed kwa her own father, and that bitch, kahaba witch laughs about it. Like I said, the most depressing ending to any game
3: Not a whole lot to say, its just the sekunde ending, only, wewe get to talk to a cat before your chased kwa the witch... Oh yeah, theres a black cat that helps save your data throughout the game that talks to you. I forgot to mention that
So, that's the Witch's House, and I actually liked it. Its not only a game with pop-up scares, but it also makes wewe think. Its a horror game tt=hat scares wewe psycologically, and thats much scarrier then just "BOO, I'M A SCARY" So, yeah, even though the ending is depressing, I actually enjoyed the game, and I have to say, I think its at least worth playing it. But hay, thats only my opinion. What's Your Take
