So I played the original NieR some time ago. I liked what I did play, but never got to experience it enough to form a definitive opinion, but man, was that combat not the best. If it was just a little refined, I could like it more… And then Platinum Games came along. And that’s the transition to start talking about NieR: Automata.
So, when it came to the juu ten, I thought it would be hard for any game to just break the juu ten so easily. Most of my juu ten inayopendelewa games are games I have cherished memories with. But NieR: Automata, I have no nostalgia for, and yet it managed to break right into the juu Ten, and beat out both Silent kilima 2 and No zaidi Heroes. So let’s talk about why. Taking place in the mwaka 11945, a group of androids known as the YoRHa Unit are fighting a seemingly endless war against a group of machines on the earth to save it for the good of humanity. One of these androids, the fighter 2B and her partner, a young scouter named 9S, go across the ruins of earth in the hopes of salvaging something, and many deaths and many, many tears are experienced throughout the game. Mixing this game with Yoko Taro’s insanely brilliant uandishi and the grand polish of Platinum Games’ gameplay, this was a match that sounded too good to be true, and yet here we are. The game has a real fun combat system, where wewe can use two swords at once to perform different combos, and with all weapons having different speed, attacks, and such, it’s good to experiment with them. wewe also have a Pod, a little robot assistant, that helps wewe shoot enemies, and can also perform special moves that really hits them. All this gives wewe a chance to try out new things and to see what works best for you. And it doesn’t stop there, cause there are also Chips, which give wewe different stat boosts, like speed, strength, health, and so on. And I thought changing out weapons would be experimental, but the chips really change things up. And what’s zaidi is that 2B and 9S have different gameplay mechanics entirely. 2B is a fighter, so she is just your usual Platinum player character, but 9S is as weak as a baby, so he relies on hacking into robots to destroy them from the inside, turn into them temporarily, au have them fight alongside them. The world of Automata is also breathtaking. I remember just seeing the City Ruins and thinking, “damn”. And boy, little did I know there would be zaidi glorious moments like that. I could honestly make a orodha of my inayopendelewa moments from NieR: Automata alone. The game can get painfully depressing but also poetically beautiful all within the span of a few minutes. Seriously, the sekunde wewe start the third route, wewe will feel like wewe just had your moyo torn out kwa Yoko Taro has he starts LOLing. And, again, the music. That damn score is so beautiful, and any song in the game where the vocals kick in really adds to it. I could spend hours talking about Automata’s world building, the depressing nature of it, and how it also connects to psychology, but that would take forever. And then there’s the side content, like all the side quests, all the weapons to collect that all have their own stories, the really wacky secret endings wewe can get out of nowhere, and getting to see my boy Emil again from the first game is always a joyful experience. God, why is there so much to talk about in this game? I’m so used to just spending one page worth of talking about the game, and yet I want to talk about Automata all the damn time. I just upendo this game so much.
Okay, slowing down now. NieR: Automata is a beautifully depressing game and probably the best game on the PS4 right now. Yes, better than Bloodborne and Persona 5. Maybe not on a technical level, but it managed to impress, amaze, and keep me invested from start to end. And yes, 2B has a nice ass. Please contain your thirst, people

I remember a time when horror sinema didn’t use found footage to describe they’re movies, and how Paranormal Activity brought it back and it was everywhere, forever making horror mashabiki motion sick. Okay, I don’t hate found footage films. I upendo Cloverfield, and it was a found footage movie. However, found footage movies, at least to me, tend to be pretty bland. It’s why I wasn’t really a shabiki of Paranormal Activity. But I think the movie that started it all would have to be Blair Witch Project.

Okay, so maybe Blair Witch Project wasn’t the first to do the whole found footage...

If wewe ever wanted to see how stupid me and my brother are, look no further than the time when we bought two fucking BB guns, and started uigizaji like badasses because of it. We were twelve at the time, so what do wewe expect. We did everything we could with these things. We shot soda cans, we swung them in our hands, we even held them sideways, thinking we’d look zaidi awesome, au at the very least, less idiotic. So, what we decided to do was try and put on vests and shoot each other. Yes, we were THAT fucking stupid. We actually thought it would be a fun idea to shoot each other. I have no...

Guys, I’m about to give a hot take for wewe all…. I do not care for PaRappa the Rapper on Playstation 1. Now I am fully aware that is a crime against humanity, but I do like aspects of it. I upendo the style of it for a PS1 game, I enjoy the character designs, and I think the muziki is pretty funky. But a lot of my problems with the game are from the gameplay feeling pretty rough and unfair at times. There are many times where I am pretty sure I hit the button at the right time, and not only does it sound awkward coming out of PaRappa as delayed as it sounds, but the game still counts it as...

*Hannah’s eyes were on the dark figure. She couldn’t see who au what they were. Her curiosity was all over her mind. She wanted to rush over to the person, but there was not a single monster near them. They stood perfectly still, almost calm. Hannah couldn’t look at them another minute. Instead, she continued to follow the butterfly. She hoped that, in due time, she would find out who that mysterious figure was. She hoped that they would meet soon. But, she had to stay focused on helping the person in danger, the one the butterfly, kipepeo was leading her to. She ran down the street, following...

Back when we were living at my grandma’s house, my brother was quite the troublemaker. He was always going out late, he was always arguing with our mother, and he was always breaking all the rules. So much in fact, that he did something worth a spot on Wind’s Story Time, so I hope wewe all won’t mind that we will be talking about what happened to my brother rather than what happened to me… But I witnessed it, so that’s something. Anyway, my brother had just walked in from school, and, on the bus, he told me how he was going to hang out at his friend's house for the night. When we got...

It was a beauitful siku in Bikini Bottom, and everyone's inayopendelewa dimwitted Starfish was doing what he always dose.. Sleeping almost ALL hours of the day.

Inside his rock house, laying on a kitanda 'liturary' made of sand, Patrick was cuddled up with a teddy bear, and for whatever reason, sucking his thumb.

Suddenly there was a knock on his door, carzing him to wake up.

Patrick opened up his rock to see a mailman.

"Hello" Patrick greeted, as friendly as could sound.

"letter for mister Starfish" the mailman said, holding a mailcard.

"What Starfish?" Patrick asked, looking around as if looking for someone....

(Notice: All Jojo-nuary makala will be released on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If I made an makala everyday throughout January, I’d just be exhausted)

Well, I already did the Stands for Vento Aureo last week, so I guess now is a better time than any to get started on the inayofuata part of Jojo, Stone Ocean. Now, Stone Ocean was a part that as very… mixed for Jojo fans. Many enjoyed the main Jojo, Jolyne, the main villain of this part, Enrico Pucci, and the story it had for it, but it seemed to have lacked in creative Stands. It’s like a reverse Vento Aureo, a part with amazing Stands, but weak...

There are many disturbing things out there in the world, with each one being something haunting for their own reasons. Some people see things as being disturbing for different reasons than others, but we can all agree that there are some haunting things out there, that scare us zaidi than anything that a game au a movie could do, due to how psychologically damaging they are to those who watch them. When I saw the trailer for this movie back in the summer, I gotta say, I was excited. But I was also expecting disappointment, since Hollywood has a habit of disappointing me. But, surprisingly enough, this movie was awesome. Now, originally, I was going to review Halloween 3 instead of this movie, but I just had to talk about. So for all of wewe who badly wanted that Halloween 3 review, here is is in short. It has witchcraft and no Myers. It’s different, so it sucks (Seriously though, it is not a good movie). Now, with that out of the way, let’s talk about the clearly better movie, Don’t...

Another Rob Zombie movie I have watched, and another one that people are mixed about. I’ve alisema before that I known Zombie zaidi for his sinema rather than his music, and this is one of the sinema I remember my brother telling me he loved. I didn’t know what I’d think of it. I do remember some people finding it too disgusting for them. Then again, I did have a soft spot for some of Zombie’s other movies, like El Superbeasto, so maybe this could be one of his shining gems… au it could turn out like his Halloween movie, and we all know that’s not good. Anyway, today, we are going to...
