Missing.

The word was whirling around Carla’s head, making it ache, making the room spin.
“They’ll find her, I promise.”
“Really? Would wewe mind using your newfound physic powers to tell me where the hell she is, then?” snapped Carla, shrugging her sister’s comforting arm from her shoulders.
Carla hadn’t meant to snap like that, but Sophie was so naïve. Maybe she believed everything the police had tried to blur the sharp corners with; their reassurances might have aliyopewa her peace of mind, but Carla couldn’t stop her body shaking. She was red with anger and distraught with worry. She just wanted to find her best friend. It was crystal clear that the police didn’t have a clue where Rebecca was. That much was clear since she had been reported missing three days ago.

Carla had been walking to Rebecca’s flat with Lilly to get ready for their planned night out when she’d noticed the door was ever-so-slightly ajar. In a blind panic, she’d raced up the stairs and through the front door without the smallest care for her own safety.
Carla gasped as she took in her surroundings. The flat was a state. The meza, jedwali and chairs were overturned and shards of broken glass littered the floor.
“Becca,” Carla called out, dread and anxiety spreading through her body.
“Rebecca,” Lilly frowned and suddenly started looking around as if suddenly expecting her friend to appear.
“Her phone’s still here,” alisema Carla, picking up the expensive iPhone from the floor.
She surveyed its cracked screen. It was blank and clearly broken, though Carla tried to turn it on anyway.
“She never goes anywhere without her phone, I don’t understand…”
“Carla,” cried Lilly, her eyes wide and filled with horror.
She was standing on the other side of the upturned table, her gaze fixed on the floor.
Carla dashed over to her, letting out a small cry herself. She placed a hand over her mouth as she felt the bile rise in her throat, her vision blurring as her eyes filled with tears.
On the edge of the table, there were faint fingernail marks like someone had clung on for dear life. A few meters from Lilly’s feet was a pool of blood, half-dried with four streaks extending from it. Finger marks. There’d been one hell of a struggle. A struggle which had been lost.
Lucy had flown into action and phoned the police instantaneously as Carla leaned against the door frame, shocked and devastated that Rebecca was gone. The blood terrified her all the more.

Since that day, Carla couldn’t remember the last time she’d had a proper sleep when she’d not woken up screaming from the horrendous nightmares, crying and wishing that her best friend was safely snuggled up beside her so she could protect her. She’d been haunted kwa the sight of the blood that never left her head. She felt totally helpless and angry that she was unable to do anything to help return Rebecca salama and sound.
Each night, after trying to get sleep to consume her, Carla wandered the streets, wracking her brains for any inclination as to who had taken her best friend au where she had been taken. It was better than lying powerless in her bed, salama and warm when Rebecca was out there somewhere, alone and scared and hurt.
Now, Carla was sitting in the local café with her sister because Sophie, being sensible, had declared that it wasn’t wise to go to the pub because she would just drink herself into a dark oblivion to try and forget.
“Carla, I know you’re worried…” alisema Sophie, placing her hand over her sister’s to comfort her.
“I’m absolutely petrified,” Carla whispered, unable to stop her eyes misting over once zaidi “I just want her back.”
“We all do,” Sophie alisema with a sigh, taking a long drink from her mug of hot chocolate.
After three long days and nights, Carla was pretty sure she knew who was responsible. Scott Johnston – Rebecca’s ex-boyfriend. He was the one who’d hurt her best friend in the worst way possible and left Rebecca to pick up the fragments of her life while he lied to the courts and got let off with the awful crime with not so much as a caution au a restraining order. He was the possessive lover who wanted her to be his and only his. He couldn’t stand their break-up, couldn’t cope with being rejected. All the signs pointed to him as being responsible in some way. His car was gone. His house was empty.
“They’re not at the house and their passports are still here, so where could he have taken her?” pondered Sophie.
Carla stood up suddenly, her eyes dark and determined as she thought of all the twisted things Scott was capable of. The thoughts made her blood run cold.
“I don’t know. But I’m going to find her,” she vowed “And I’m going to make that monster pay for everything he’s done to her.”

************************************************************************************************************************************

Rebecca woke up to near darkness. As she slowly opened her eyes, nothing seemed familiar. Her body felt heavy and groaned in protest as she tried to turn onto her side.
Once she had successfully completed the manoeuvre, she screwed up her eyes and scanned her surroundings, unable to songesha her head due to a severe stinging pain.
It appeared that she was in some sort of underground room. Aside from the kitanda she lay on, there was some sort of wooden chest in the corner and two doors; one of which had a steep flight of rickety steps leading up to it.
Rebecca sunk back onto the hard mattress. She closed her eyes in an attempt to stop the dizziness which was threatening to overwhelm her. The motion helped for a bit, but as soon as she gained some relief, a pounding started in her head like someone was banging a drum and there was a sudden throbbing pain in her wrist. She opened her eyes again, feeling vulnerable with the blindness.
Rebecca stared blankly at the chest, wondering what it contained but not have the strength au the willpower to investigate. Every time she tried to recall what had happened and how she had ended up here, she felt like there was a brick ukuta preventing her from doing so. It frustrated her to no end. She hated not knowing. She hated it zaidi than anything.

Grey pulled away from the house. I sat inside on the couch. Our house had deep brown walls, and light brown hard-wood floors. There were knick-knacks everywhere. Pictures of Grey’s family hung on the walls. None of mine, though, I prefer to keep mine in my suitcase.
It may seem odd, but I keep all my belongings in my suitcase. I’m afraid if I unpack something bad will happen.
The brown kitanda I sat on, and musty smell of the house grew old on me. I walked outside to the front porch. It was one of the nice, white, wrap-around...

I woke up to a gloomy day. The reaping. I sigh, and get out of bed. I get dressed in a blue dress. I look into the mirror. My mom comes into the room, and braids my black hair. Everyday, she tells me I kubeba a strong resemblance to my father, but she never tells me who he is. "You look remarkable!" she says. She sighs. "Isabella Everdeen... I hope that name isn't pulled"
"That game is foolishness! There are countless names in Panem. There are 24 tributes. Two of them from District 12. We havn't won in 36 years. 15 of them, I've been alive. 3 of...

Chapter 3

In front of me was a world like no other. Danny called it BOES but it was nowhere near being a building. There were trees everywhere. In the distance were a couple mountains. There were so many plants, trees, flowers, lakes, ponds, and hills that it could almost be described as a fairy world. I almost thought it was a fairy world from seeing a bunch of pretty mermaids in the ponds, gigantic moto breathing dragoni in the sky, naiads, centaurs, and many zaidi mythological wanyama that I can’t name. There were even real animals, like elephants and cats, cheetahs,...

The manor I imagine. Without the moor however.
Chapter 2: “Ilia,” he whispered into my ear as we walked across the soft meadows surrounding the manor, “how magnificent your beauty is.” Arik’s words curling around me seducing me completely, he had been doing so since the moment he arrived. “Please sit,” he asked as he took my dainty hands into his large rough ones. Today I had worn green to emphasize the one feature about myself I cherished the most, though he begged to differ. I sunk into the grass, soft like moss still holding his hand ever so lightly. He kneeled beside me, chasing away the strands of hair that flickered...

"Good to see wewe again, Rigel." I alisema slyly. He was so startled kwa my appearance that he knocked a stack of papers off his dawati and almost fell backwards. He stared up at me in horror. I jumped down from the windowsill. "What happened?" I asked threateningly, "You just--" I shrugged, "decided not to answer back." "Um…I… I just…" He stuttered. "Why would wewe switch sides like that?" I asked dangerously. "All I did… I just…" He stammered again. I slammed him against the desk. "I told wewe in the beginning that once wewe get into this wewe don't back out." I hissed. He staggered back against...

The darkness, it is something i have allways been afraid of, somthing that would always catch me in the end. But sometimes the darkness, is safer than the real world.

I was coming to, but i stayed still, and hoped it was all a dream, i prayed for some sort of dream, a nightmare. Anything. I breathed in the air, i whimpered. No pancakes. just grease, and dust. i opened my eyes, and quickly glanced around the cafe, i notticed some of the tables and chairs were upturned, and i could hear harsh...

A car crash, could my parents be that careless that I can’t even get a ride nyumbani from the hospital without getting in another life threatening situation? Could they care so little about my safety and well being that they’d almost kill me again? “I CAN’T DO THIS ANYMORE!” I hear I boys’ voice shout stridently. It was Matt, “I can’t just be your guardian angel! I have to be with wewe forever now! Why can’t wewe stay out of trouble Elizzy?” No one’s ever called me that before, not my parents, babysitters, friends, au even crazy old people…I like it! “Is that why wewe abandoned...

It has been about two years since I’ve seen Matt, but I kept him in my mind, knowing he was real. Since then I have become sick with a deadly disease known as Typhoid fever. “Hey, mommy, can I-“ I felt dizzy, the room span around, then I passed out onto the hard cold jikoni floor, my parents rushed over to me, and found my pulse was slowing down. I woke up only to hear wailing sounds from someone crying. A opened...

So I had a really deep idea for a story, but I couldn't really start it. So instead I kind of started uandishi it from a plot point halfway through. I would upendo some feedback!!!

He looked at the dresser, fingering all the small things on top. The bottle of Marc Jacobs perfume, the skull and crossbone earrings, and the hairbrush that had “Maddy Starr” etched into the slender wooden handle. Everything about it was so perfect; he began to wonder what this girl was doing here, with him. He’d told himself he’d never find the perfect woman, and there she was; ready to fall right into his arms....

Epilogue: It was a siku like any other, the sun was shining making the mountains turn magenta like watermelon, tikiti maji and the breeze played with my hair flipping raven black strands into my eyes and obscuring my vision. I smiled, comforted kwa the averageness of the morning. I had never really known “average” I thought. My father was a Lord of Phim and my mother was his Lady. Every morning I woke up earlier than the peasants and snuck out to the field to watch the sun rise like “normal” people do. My cream-colored skin enjoyed the warm sunlight just as much as I did. Being a little lady meant...

I missed the air particles at Ethan's place. Here, running away from something that's not even chasing me, the air particles manage to croak; "Run, run, run."
And then it hit me. What I was really running away from was chasing me. I was running away from my emotions and I didn't realize that they were, in fact, backpacked onto me. They were heavily weighing down on my back. My back felt fragile, broken... like my heart.
I felt like crashing to the ground. The thick tears and emotions were superior, rising above me. The siku before at school when I nearly melted my esophogaus, I felt numb,...
