11:00pm exactly. Artemis walked down the sidewalks of Gotham. She managed to leave Flynn with Lucas while she went to spend the evening with her mother. The usual sounds of cars and people still erupted late into the night. Despite her awful childhood Artemis still loved the city.
She finally came across the familiar, brick apartment building. She walked up the concrete stairs of the dimly lit halls. Artemis came to the 7th floor, apartment G-6. She reached into her pocket pulling out the key and putting it in the lock, unlatching it. She pushed open the door.
The apartment looked as it should. jikoni light always on, vitabu on the book shelf neatly stacked. doors to the bedrooms and single bathroom opened slightly.
"Mom?" She called out. Suddenly the silence sunk in. Something wasn't right.
She walked in a little and the door behind her slammed shut. She jumped, turning her head slightly. And was grabbed from behind. The attacker grabbing both her arms, pushing them on her back and pressed her against the ukuta forcefully. She groaned as her head hit the wall.
"WHERE IS IT?" SportsMaster shouted.
"WHERES WHAT?" Artemis shouted back pushing back on him. He was to strong. And shoved her back.
"The money." He gritted. "The goddamn money Artemis." He alisema shoving her head into the wall.
"I don't know what your talking about." Artemis replied honestly. He grabbed her neck and shoved her down on the floor.
"You don't know? The money I left here. The money under the floorboards. ITS GONE!" He yelled, kicked her in the side.
"I didn't...ughh take it...." She alisema getting another kick while trying to explain.
"Useless child." He alisema picking her up kwa the pony-tail. "Always were." He alisema slapping her cheek.
"Your mother's tied in the closet." He alisema forcefully pushing her back down to the ground and she didn't dare move....she could see the gun hooked on his belt.
He looked at her disgusted, and walked out the door.

The final sneak peek for the fifth book in the Red Revenge/ DC Comics crossover series.
“No.” Revenge breathed. He ran over to the two girl’s bodies, kneeling inayofuata to them. Police sirens screamed around the corner and slid to a halt in the road. Several dozen officers filed out and all pointed their guns at Red Revenge.
“FREEZE!”
Revenge didn’t move.
“HANDS UP! NOW!”
Revenge slowly raised his hands in surrender.
“MASK OFF!”
Revenge didn’t move.
“NOW!!!”
“You should’ve left that last part off.” Red Revenge said, still not moving. Then in one quick blur, he shot a dagger into the road and it exploded, spraying smoke everywhere. Revenge grabbed one of the girls and ran, police firing into the smoke.

Scott sat on the couch, scribbling on a piece of paper across from Danny
"Dude. wewe going to bed? It's like three o'clock in the morning." Danny got and walked to his room,
"Yeah. In a minute." Scott got up, setting the paper aside and flipped off the light. He sighed and walked into his room, pulling off his shirt. Scott fell face first on the bed, sprawled across and smothering his face in the pillows. He curled up under the covers and grabbed the black stuffed cat that was sitting on his night stand. He petted the animal and cuddled against it. "I miss you." He cuddled up against it, kissing its head. Scotty smiled, "It does really look just like wewe Cat." he pulled the stuffed animal closer and fell asleep.
It's short, BUT SO CUTE!!!
