He laid there on the kitanda staring up at the ceiling, somehow thinking that staring at the white paint and patterns would give him the train of thought he was looking for. He blinked when he watched Aryess walk in out of the bathroom wearing a pink spaghetti, tambi strap night kanzu, gown that ran just above her knees and let in a deep breath staring back up at the ceiling with his steeling grey eyes. The golden glow that the lights gave off suddenly flicked off into a blue moonlight glow from the open curtained windows. Aryess slipped into the kitanda inayofuata to Bentley and turned to her side resting her head with her arm bent, she stared at the expression on his face as if he were Lost and confused.
" B, what's up with you?" He turned over on his side looking over at her " wewe act as if wewe arent happy that I'm pregnant with our daughter," she muttered as grey met grey.
"I never alisema I wasn't happy," he said, blinking.
"Am i just a piece of material to wewe that wewe just banged up?" she muttered quiet and shaken. Suprise hit his grey eyes "Aryess of course not, wewe mean the world to me; why would wewe think that?" Bentley asked.
"Bentley.. at the hospital, that expression on you're face when I told wewe that I was pregnant didn't seem to happy, and the way wewe reacted I...." her eyes left his gaze as they teared up a bit, " I thought wewe would be zaidi excited...." She muttered out.
He moved closer to her wrapping his arm around her and placed a hand on her stomach where a bump was yet to form and was overlapped kwa her soft hand. He leaned his forehead against hers, "I'm sorry I didn't give wewe the reaction wewe we're looking for babe...." he muttered out. Aryess stared into his gaze with teary eyes as he continued to speak, "I-I was just confused and startled...."
She swallowed hard and used her other hand to brush down his cheek "Startled for what B? I thought we knew that this was going to happen.... I remember we talked about this almost five years ago. What's startling wewe about this?" She said, trying to sooth him as he let out a shaken breath before speaking, "W-We used protection... I thought that everything was fine... I thought that wewe would be fine... I thought- " his eyes welled up with tears.
"But I'm am fine, B," she reassured. "We're going to be okay."
"Aryess, wewe could have gotten hurt. wewe dehydrated and fainted. What if wewe had been alone?"
Aryess sighed leaning into him "But I wasn't alone. I was with Declan. He caught me. I didn't get hurt." " What wewe were doing could have gotten wewe hurt."
She looked at him with surprise and he sighed " Declan told me." She cursed to herself quietly and sighed, "But I thought we already talked about this. I'm not fragile. I can handle myself; I'm not vulnerable."
" wewe are when you're pregnant." Aryess looked at him with shock and let out a sigh of annoyance and frustration and rolled over facing away from him closing her eyes in an attempt to ignore him and pretend she was sleeping. Bentley let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around her, " Aryess," he muttered, she ignored him laying still. Bentley blinked and leaned his head in the crook of her neck in an attempt to make her talk to him, but she still ignored him and he pulled back sitting up with teary eyes and sighed falling back in kitanda inayofuata to her. He made a mistake again didn't he? He underestimated her and probably just made her feel worse about the pregnancy.

Scott sat on the couch, scribbling on a piece of paper across from Danny
"Dude. wewe going to bed? It's like three o'clock in the morning." Danny got and walked to his room,
"Yeah. In a minute." Scott got up, setting the paper aside and flipped off the light. He sighed and walked into his room, pulling off his shirt. Scott fell face first on the bed, sprawled across and smothering his face in the pillows. He curled up under the covers and grabbed the black stuffed cat that was sitting on his night stand. He petted the animal and cuddled against it. "I miss you." He cuddled up against it, kissing its head. Scotty smiled, "It does really look just like wewe Cat." he pulled the stuffed animal closer and fell asleep.
It's short, BUT SO CUTE!!!
