Stefan is an asshole

I hate Stefan so Much he needs to go dig himself a grave and die a painful death . I also hate Bamon so much that I will die before they will happen

I think one of the first times I became really bothered by Stefan was when he told Damon that he was with Katherine 'last.' He says it with the same intent and tone of voice to Damon as yesterday's, "I have her respect." So smug and sure of his place with Katherine/Elena. Damon was visibly hurt in the first case, really angry this last.

I didn't like the Stamon fight at all! What I really didn't like about it was that Stefan said all those things to his brother like you don't have Elena's respect blah blah blah... Which I don't get why Stefan would have to prove any point about Elena.

Stefan has the girl, why does he have to rub it in Damon's face if he doesn't feel threatened. If Stefan was so secure in his relationship, why did he fight with Damon? He's totally threatened by the prospect of Delena happening.

AM I the only one who is really expecting Elena to finally show some feelings for Damon this season???

.... and if Damon does get bitten by a werewolf, Elena knows exactly what he's going through because she was there with Rose. She knows that it's fatal, and will be the one and only opportunity to reveal how she feels to Damon, considering he won't survive.

Damon will tell her exactly how he feels, possibly bring up the love confession, because what has he got to lose? How can Elena be angry? How can she possibly do anything else other than let him know how much he really means to her?

That will be the massive change for season 3. Because no way in Hell will Damon die, Stefan will find a cure and then we're left with the truth between Damon and Elena. The love triangle will come into play once again.

I've never felt more confident about DE than right now. I can only predict GOOD things will come from this!!!

I have high confidence for DE. I'll admit that I never expected this season to go how it has, however, I think it's been needed. I think by the end of the season, Elena will at least partly have discovered her true feelings for Damon. I truly believe S3 is DE season.

In the show there were more moments between Bonnie and Stefan.
In the books there is no real conection between Bonnie and Damon. Don´t get all: In the show it seems like Damon and Elena are the pairing (good that they at least admit that) BUT Damon and Bonnie in the books are the ones who had connection. I was like WHAT? Do we read the same books?
Also hate current: Elija is now suddenly the man for Elena... Don´t see the appeal in them. I like ELija, but him and Elena, again WHAT?

Weighing in on this Bonnie/Stefan debate here, Stefan has an understanding and respect for Bonnie's ancestry from the moment they meet. Maybe if Damon's scenes with Bonnie had been more like that, I would at least be able to say that Bamon are a credible pairing. But I don't think Bonnie would ever date a vampire. There's just too much animosity between the 2 groups that dates back for generations. I've never understood the whole passion for Bamon thing - they have so little going for them, in the show and in the books. I read the books expecting to gain a greater insight into why BD have such a following, but nope. All I can say on that subject is that while Damon cares for Bonnie, he loves Elena. There's nothing in the books I've read (haven't finished 'Midnight' yet) to suggest he's in love with Bonnie at all. Any time there's been a BD kiss, it's been initiated by Bonnie, and it's been brief. LJ Smith never goes into any great detail about it. Damon isn't affected by Bonnie's kiss the way he's affected by Elena's. Their auras don't connect. And there's far more DE in the books than there are Bamon. I just don't get it.

Delenasalvatore: Exactly what I always thought about Damon and Bonnie. I always wondered about them in the books, even was a little afraid to read the books because of that, but after reading the books, I really didn´t get: THAT IS IT???? It´s so clear by the way the author describes and writes that she loves to write Damon and Elena.

And I checked the profile of the person who posted this and she ships Forwood, which had a similar scene with Tyler pushed Caroline. Hypocritical much?

Seriously, the times when Damon has been harsh with Elena, is because she's about to do something really stupid. If someone you loved was determined to put their life in danger you would do everything in your power, even if it means pinning them to the wall to see sense, to stop them from doing something so terrible. You would not stand there and go "wait, come back!" you'd drag them kicking and screaming back to you to stop them - because you LOVE them.

And it is hypocritical of them. Like you said, Katie, Tyler pushed Caroline. Or what about Stefan threatening Elena in season one? The person who posted that would argue "well he was back on human blood, so it's okay." Again, that would be hypocritical, because Damon has been bitten by a werewolf and cannot see sense at all.

And can people seriously not see that Elena is the center of why Damon is becoming a better man? I think that out of all the women that Damon has interacted with on the show, Bonnie is the one girl who Damon respects the most. Damon doesn't even show Elena the same kind of genuine respect that he shows for or towards Bonnie. That, to me, says a lot. Yes, D/B may not "like" each other but Damon I believe has always had a fondness for Bonnie and Bonnie is slowly starting to see Damon as someone she can strongly trust.
