	KataraLover picked Rapunzel: I figured that since they were tied in the favorite countdown that I would make a poll to see who Fanpop likes more. I'm not doing this to try to break the tie and make a change to the countdown results SLIGHTLY, I was just curious. 	Aang_Lite picked Rapunzel: I think it's really interesting that these two were tied in the countdown. I tend to see Tangled as a more modern take on Cinderella. Both have to escape abusive situations and they both show an incredible amount of inner strength to be able to deal and overcome them. But, I think it's more modern in how Rapunzel has a lot more agency. She actually rebels against her abuser, and even though it doesn't work out, she at least tries. Cindy is just a too passive, and while it's understandable, it's not exactly what you're going to look for in the ideal role model. Anyway I digress. I can see why people would say that, since we're undoubtedly supposed to root for her, she's definitely the most beautiful and most kind person in the movie, she's the only one to catch the Prince's attention, she has a tragic life that doesn't seem to affect her too severely, and a few more reasons I can't remember at the moment. But none as much as Rapunzel, especially since all heroines today are supposed to be so 'realistic'.
