Well, I was on my way to work this morning and
I decided to take a shortcut through the forest. I
know my way around there ever since my dad took me
to hunt when I was a kid. Katie was at nyumbani watching TV, I went and bought her Family Guy DVDs so that should keep her occupied. As I walked, I heard a cry of pain. It sounded like a hurt wolf. I immediately followed the cries and found a mbwa mwitu that looked like Humphrey in a rusted kubeba trap. He looked at me, crying. The blood dripped down his leg. "Please help. I can't move." he whimpered. "Shhh. its ok boy. Here." I said. "Y-You can understand me?" he said. "Of course. My mate is a wolf. Her name is Katie." I said, undoing the kubeba trap. "Wait.... wewe alisema Katie? What color is her eyes?" he asked me with an excited grin. "Uh, they are the same as yours. Her sister Lilly is a-" "Alpha...." he finished. "Are wewe related to her?" I asked. "Dude, I am her brother. My name is Alex! Can wewe take me to her?" he begged. "Sure, lets get that leg taken care of." I said.

Like I did with Katie, I picked up Alex and carried him home. I had him wait in the pango on the couch. "Shes gonna freak." I said. I went to the back room and woke Katie up. "There is somone who wants to see you." I alisema with a smile. "Who is it baby?" Katie asked. I told her to close her eyes and led her to the den. "Open them" I said. Katie did and she stared in complete shock. "No...It can't be....." She stutered. "Yeah sis, its me." Alex said. "OH MY GOD!" she cried. She ran and hugged him Alex and Katie then began to cry in tears of joy. "I never thought I would see wewe again!" Katie sobbed. "Oh sis I upendo you." Alex said, nuzzling his sister. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I was so happy for them. I needed to get a mkufu for alex. I wend and found a Halo of the Sun mkufu and went down to the station to get mbwa mwitu adoption papers. After doing that. I put on the necklace. "Welcome to the family Alex." I said, hugging him. "Yeah!" Katie cried. Kissing her brother on the cheek. Alex began to cry again. "T-Thanks guys. I upendo yall." he said.
