it is 1968 Humphrey and Sergio just left Gloria after the most bloodiest battle at the base.
Today they were at pleiku airbase waiting for the New guys to arrive then A c141 starlifter landed with the recruits with a Marine major Major cesar Robles (wolfman577) He was now in command of Sergio's Platoon (including Humphrey's).

Sergio'S pov
right when we left pleiku a c123 proivder blows ,then the control tower blows up, then a line of hueys blow up one kwa one we all pull out our m16s,M60's,and Stoner lmg's and we drove off to saigon when we got there there were dead bodies on the floor with their blood spilling on the floor
and moto trucks pass kwa us to a moto lighted up kwa charlies then we got to the embassy i was inspecting an attack at night so i told private kodi to warn kwa brother about the attack.

at nightfall the marines and army mp's surrounded the building Major Cesar who got the message ordered the troops to guard the ammo dump.
then a school bus loaded with charlies drove into the base knocking down the gate one of the charlies killed the guard kwa the gate then the bus stopped kwa the entrance of the building.

Humphrey's pov
when i saw the charlies shot the guard kwa the entrance i pull out my m16 to engage the enemy
then an explosion happened kwa the ammo dump
And lance copral cando was right there i ran up to him and saw him screaming in pain he had Lost his legs i was shocked but i did what i had to do
i give the marine doc's cover moto as we dragged cando inside the complex then an army mp got hit on the head then Sergio's m60 overheated so he grabbed a rpk machine gun that was on the floor
my m16 jammed so i grabbed an ak 47 from a dead charlie, then the charlies broke into the complex
and shot everybody that got in their way a female personnel got shot in the head then hucth got hit in the arm then i opened moto with the ak 47,
and shot 5 charlies. Cesar was holding a m16 in his left hand and an ak 47 in the other he shot 30 charlies, then we got up staris with cando and Hucth severely wounded.
when we got up to the medical area Sergio threw a m26 HE Gernade to collapse the ceiling.
then we treated cando.
when they warped up cando's legs with a gauze
the stopped the bleeding on hucthe's arm,
suddenly the Charlies broke through the wall
then the calvery arrives, Sergio's m 60 cooled down completely and he reloaded it with the ammo form the rpk, and opened fire.

Cesar's pov
just when he overwhelmed them the charlies shot their main target but he survived later,
then the nva officer ordered them to retreat
the charlies ran out of the complex and droved off on the school busthe battle ended at 5:50 am.

When the last remaining charlies were gone they called in a medical chopper to take cando and hucth. cando was sent nyumbani and hucth will still fight but the tet offensive will still go on
