What was your first ever inayopendelewa animal?

My inayopendelewa animal changes on average once per mwaka but as far as I can remember my first inayopendelewa animal was a cat.

Unfortunately I can't have one as we have loads of nesting birds in the garden which would be disrupted if a cat lived here, and now we also live right near a main road so doubly impractical. Aw, poor you. :( I wished I had a cat for years... but FINALLY we decided i'it's better to have loved and Lost than to never have loved at all' and we got one quite recently. I live near a main road too, wewe see.

It's the problem with the birds that has probably been the biggest problem...unfortunately birds are some of my favourite wanyama too, and some of them are quite rare species, so even if it was a cat that didn't eat birds it might stll deter them. My parents aren't all that keen on Cats either...one siku when I'm older I want to get an elderly rescue cat, au at least a rescue cat that would be less likely to hunt birds.

Aww thanks :D The picture is of a Scottish Wildcat, one of my favourite members of the cat family :)

farasi are lovely creatures, they have great personalities too. We have this old ex-racehorse who is nice but very sneaky, and every so often he'll work out how to break out of the electric fence around his paddock and goes trotting through the garden...

I have loved wanyama in general as far back as I can remember. I sort of had a soft spot for birds when I was about three years old. Although my first "obsession" was with domesticated dogs, which I think started when I was about five.
