After doing the zaidi modern princesses, I switched to the classics, who are accused of being Mary Sues a lot. (I might not do ones for Merida and Tiana, since they pretty obviously aren't Mary Sues). Starting with Cinderella.

Unique traits without contacts au hair dye- No. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, common traits.
An odd name- Yes. It'd make sense if it was explained cinderella was a nickname and her real name is Ella, like in some versions, but it isn't in the film. 1.
Looks constantly ametoa maoni on- Yes. cinderella is described as beautiful, and the prince considers her the most beautiful girl at the ball. 1.
Always the hero- Definitely not. I can't remember her saving anyone aside from Gus, and her animal Marafiki have to save her at the end.
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only the prince.
Gets into the relationships she wants- Yes. While she didn't go to the ball initially to meet the prince, she definitely wanted to be the girl to fit the glass slipper. 1.
No flaws au any flaws addressed au called out on- Definitely. cinderella doesn't have any flaws aside from her slight sarcastic and snarky side, which doesn't have any negative impact whatsoever. Since this is one of the biggest traits, it's worth 2 points. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Yes, definitely. Even her stepmother seems to realize that she's zaidi perfect than her biological daughters in every way. 2.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Yes. The prince immediately fell for her instead of all the other girls at the ball, and all the wanyama aside from Lucifer upendo her (though this makes zaidi sense since she cares for them). Her stepfamily is portrayed as mean and evil for not liking her (which they are, don't get me wrong, but no one who isn't mean au evil doesn't like her). 2.
upendo and trust from closed-off characters- No. There aren't any closed-off characters in the film aside from her stepmother, who obviously doesn't.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes. Her stepsisters are portrayed as inferior to her in every way. Just compare hearing her beautiful imba after their terrible singing. 1.
A rival to make her look good- Yes, again her stepsisters. Their entire purpose is to make cinderella look good in comparison. 1.
Never fails- Sort of? She mostly fails at doing things kwa herself. She can't make her own dress, get to the ball, au escape her locked room kwa herself, but she succeeds eventually. .5.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time cinderella was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- No. She definitely earned her happiness and the praise the narration gives her.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No. The one skill she has, sewing, her animal Marafiki have to do it for her.
Always figures things out- No. She didn't figure out how to get to the ball, to stop her stepmother from locking her in on time, au how to escape the tower kwa herself.
Kind but deadly- No. She's definitely kind, but not deadly.
Tragic backstory- GOD YES. Lost her father at an early age, forced to be a slave in her own home, abused kwa her family. She probably has the biggest one out of any Disney princess. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No. She doesn't have many skills aside from sewing and housework, which she's forced to do.
Contradictory traits- No, Cinderella's traits were pretty consistent.
Always gets what she wants- Yes, actually. She ends up going to the ball, getting the prince, and leaving her family. The only thing she couldn't have was going to the ball in her mother's dress. 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, actually. She gets annoyed and fed up quite a few times, and breaks down after her dress gets torn apart.
A resurrection- No, unlike her fellow classics.

That's 14.5 out of 24. I'd say that's a borderline Sue. She does hit the biggest Mary Sue traits like no flaws, seen as perfect and loved kwa everyone who isn't a villain, and others being put down to make her look good. But I'd say without doing tests for the other two yet that she's the most realistic classic princess.

A great appreciation for all people in this spot who participated in my poll. Using the link (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) assessment, I attempted to classify Belle in one of sixteen different personality types.

BELLE IS...

1. Introverted link

Introverts often:
- Have quiet energy
- Listen zaidi than talk
- Think quietly inside their heads
- Think, then act
- Feel comfortable being alone
- Prefer to work "behind-the-scenes"
- Have good powers of concentration
- Prefer to focus on one thing at a time
- Are self-contained and reserved

In the song "Belle," she preferred kusoma alone to mingling with...

10.Beast gives Belle the maktaba

This maktaba is KICK ASS. Seriously, when I was a kid I wanted to run through it and open every book, climb all the ladders. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for nerds. The majesty and enormity of the room astounded me, but the fact the Beast can't read makes me think this room is just a big slap in the face :D Anyway, the scene is wonderful, but not as important as others.

"...this scene is cute, but to me it is not as significant." (ppgbelle4)

"To compare this scene with others, it's less important. Sure, it's sweet, but... Oh... It's impossible to pick one....

Disney has Enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, imba heroines.
Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, singing heroines.
As many of us know, Disney Princesses are not always viewed in a positive light. Some people believe them to be passive, codependent damsels in distress. But is this really true? au does each Princess offer a kind of strength in her own way? Here, I have carefully ranked the princesses in terms of being good role models for young girls. We'll start at the bottom of the orodha so we can work our way towards, in my opinion, Disney Princess' best role model. I have spoken to plenty of parents to make sure that I have diverse research and opinions.

9. Aurora

The orodha of hottest Disney princes is finally here! As we know, Disney guys are mostly hotter than guys in real life, and I admittedly have a crush on zaidi than one of them. But let's see as a whole, who the fanpop community is crushing on.
I only have a little to write about each of the guys, because...come on. wewe all know as much as I do.

 The girly guy

9.The Prince
This nameless fellow was out pretty quickly in the first round. Dark brown hair, brown eyes, and of average height, this guy really is nothing special. A major turn off for most of the people who voted was his girly appearance,...

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As wewe may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the mwandishi of The Phantom of the Opera is kwa Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than wewe Dream It scene...

Well,it's been a while since a wrote an article,huh?
It's not entirely my fault,it's just I that my life has its ups and downs and I had to deal with both of them in the past days.Plus, considering how long my awali makala was that I had to mgawanyiko, baidisha it into two parts,I needed some break from that.
But enough talk, let's get into the makala itself.
wewe may not have known this, but I'm also a big Steven Universe fan. Most of that has to do with the fact of,you guessed it,how much it resembles Frozen.
Now technically,Steven Universe aired about one week before Frozen came out,but the similarities...

I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This makala is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

 Type Two, "The Helper"
Type Two, "The Helper"
Hello, everyone! This is the first installment of my new series analyzing the DPs' personalities according to the Enneagram system.

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward description of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral,...
