After doing the zaidi modern princesses, I switched to the classics, who are accused of being Mary Sues a lot. (I might not do ones for Merida and Tiana, since they pretty obviously aren't Mary Sues). Starting with Cinderella.

Unique traits without contacts au hair dye- No. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, common traits.
An odd name- Yes. It'd make sense if it was explained cinderella was a nickname and her real name is Ella, like in some versions, but it isn't in the film. 1.
Looks constantly ametoa maoni on- Yes. cinderella is described as beautiful, and the prince considers her the most beautiful girl at the ball. 1.
Always the hero- Definitely not. I can't remember her saving anyone aside from Gus, and her animal Marafiki have to save her at the end.
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only the prince.
Gets into the relationships she wants- Yes. While she didn't go to the ball initially to meet the prince, she definitely wanted to be the girl to fit the glass slipper. 1.
No flaws au any flaws addressed au called out on- Definitely. cinderella doesn't have any flaws aside from her slight sarcastic and snarky side, which doesn't have any negative impact whatsoever. Since this is one of the biggest traits, it's worth 2 points. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Yes, definitely. Even her stepmother seems to realize that she's zaidi perfect than her biological daughters in every way. 2.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Yes. The prince immediately fell for her instead of all the other girls at the ball, and all the wanyama aside from Lucifer upendo her (though this makes zaidi sense since she cares for them). Her stepfamily is portrayed as mean and evil for not liking her (which they are, don't get me wrong, but no one who isn't mean au evil doesn't like her). 2.
upendo and trust from closed-off characters- No. There aren't any closed-off characters in the film aside from her stepmother, who obviously doesn't.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes. Her stepsisters are portrayed as inferior to her in every way. Just compare hearing her beautiful imba after their terrible singing. 1.
A rival to make her look good- Yes, again her stepsisters. Their entire purpose is to make cinderella look good in comparison. 1.
Never fails- Sort of? She mostly fails at doing things kwa herself. She can't make her own dress, get to the ball, au escape her locked room kwa herself, but she succeeds eventually. .5.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time cinderella was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- No. She definitely earned her happiness and the praise the narration gives her.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No. The one skill she has, sewing, her animal Marafiki have to do it for her.
Always figures things out- No. She didn't figure out how to get to the ball, to stop her stepmother from locking her in on time, au how to escape the tower kwa herself.
Kind but deadly- No. She's definitely kind, but not deadly.
Tragic backstory- GOD YES. Lost her father at an early age, forced to be a slave in her own home, abused kwa her family. She probably has the biggest one out of any Disney princess. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No. She doesn't have many skills aside from sewing and housework, which she's forced to do.
Contradictory traits- No, Cinderella's traits were pretty consistent.
Always gets what she wants- Yes, actually. She ends up going to the ball, getting the prince, and leaving her family. The only thing she couldn't have was going to the ball in her mother's dress. 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, actually. She gets annoyed and fed up quite a few times, and breaks down after her dress gets torn apart.
A resurrection- No, unlike her fellow classics.

That's 14.5 out of 24. I'd say that's a borderline Sue. She does hit the biggest Mary Sue traits like no flaws, seen as perfect and loved kwa everyone who isn't a villain, and others being put down to make her look good. But I'd say without doing tests for the other two yet that she's the most realistic classic princess.

Hello, everyone! This is the first installment of my new series analyzing the DPs' personalities according to the Enneagram system.

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward description of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral,...

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.

Triton is one of those dads in Disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t upendo him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

I got inspired kwa laylastepford's link about which American Cities the Disney Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an makala about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each Disney Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 dakika train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy uandishi these, and since I re-watched Brave a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one wewe can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the Disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how Disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna au Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the Frozen sisters, Disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

I realized that I've never written an makala with any of my orodha in this club; so I wanna start with something that I really love: Disney Princesses' Outfits! I'm a big shabiki of Disney dresses, here's why I upendo cosplayers and to cosplay so much. It's wonderful to see an animated dress in person.
Well, about my article: I included just complete outfits, for example I kept out Ariel's rags because, in my opinion, this isn't even an outfit, au Mulan's white dress she wears under her Matchmaker visit dress because they are part of the same outfit. So, I hope you'll enjoy my orodha and tell me with...

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my orodha if her curls were zaidi defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my inayopendelewa hair color and Cinderella's burnt machungwa, chungwa hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like wewe can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...

Just a quick makala to compare Gaston to the Beast and decide who is really the villain...

Similarities:
Gaston: Vain, selfish and doesn't really care about anyone else.
VS
Beast: Spoiled, selfish, cursed for not having any upendo in his heart.
xxxx
Gaston: Only wants Belle because she's beautiful.
VS
Beast: Only wants Belle because she's the first girl who's come along since the curse.
xxxx
Gaston: Locks up Belle and her father.
VS
Beast: Locks up Maurice and keeps Belle prisoner.
xxxx
Differences:
Gaston: Relatively level-headed. Acts zaidi out of jealousy than anger.
VS
Beast: Quick temper. Yells a lot for...

This is the tenth makala in my "Why I Love.." series and it's for Rapunzel! Rapunzel is a great princess and I hope I can do her the justice she deserves. I hope wewe enjoy kusoma this!!

Rapunzel isn't one of my vipendwa really, in fact she's in my bottom three, but that doesn't mean I still don't really upendo her a lot. If you've been here for a while, you'll know that Rapunzel was actually my inayopendelewa princess for a few months, and before that she was always either sekunde au third on my list, but sadly all she's done is drop overtime. Despite her dropping, one of my inayopendelewa attributes of...
