Ed Westwick is finally putting the rumors to rest: He's no longer with his "Gossip Girl" co-star Jessica Szohr.

After a nasty cheating row with Jessica a few months ago, Ed confirmed that he's single, and ready to mingle.

He tells Britain's Closer magazine, "I'm single! My English accent drives American girls crazy but I haven't got time for romance. I've always been in upendo with Rachel Weisz, but sadly she's taken."

Ed and Jessica fueled reconciliation rumors when they were photographed kissing and cuddling at a tennis match in New York last Wednesday, but he's making it clear that they're no longer together. Maybe Marafiki with benefits?

Gossip girl has adopted a cloned feature of single streamed story-lines, without any real development au substance. Characters develop overnight personalities and the actual 'Gossip Girl' is now used to relay simple jokes, that we could actually do without, as her story is unexplained. It leaves me wondering whether au not the writers personally chose these stories to insult shabiki intelligence, au if they are carrying this series down a road where inspiration has Lost it's taste.

When I alisema I wanted to see Georgina go out with a 'bang', her fantasizing about Dan wasn't really what I had in mind.

At least we know that Dan is dating a movie-star and he likes her enough to throw any other potential relationship out the door.
