I have voted in every election and Republican primary since age eighteen, and for many years now I have voted kwa absentee ballot rather than on Election siku because I work as an election official on Election Day. Oh wow, this place takes me back. I remember when I was a dumb little 13 mwaka old and created my account here. So much has changed since then. I remember giddily drawing shabiki art for the onyesha and now I'm a freshman in college studying Illustration. I know this site isn't very active anymore but this community and this onyesha meant a lot to me, especially as my first fandom. Here's a bit of an exciting rl experience I'd like to share:
My boyfriend is Marafiki with a worker at Dreamworks. A couple of weeks ago, the friend was able to let him visit Dreamworks Animations Studios. There, he met all 4 voice actors of the penguins (from the movies), and gave Tom a picture he drew, as well as a letter I wrote for him, both of which he hung in his office (supposedly).
