Do wewe think in some cases the death penalty is the right thing?

I do, I think the death penalty should actually be used zaidi often.

yes, because if someone has done something so bad as to even consider to get the death penalty, then wewe know they can not be trusted around anyone.

I see where wewe are coming from, but the fact is that most people who commit crimes worthy of the death penalty do so in the heat of the moment. The consequences are not thought about.

still, if there that insane to do it even in the heat of the moment, then they deserve it.

It's not insanity, it's anger. Anyway, people who kill because they are insane shouldn't be killed because it is not something they can control.

I would upendo to have death penalty in Norway. I can't really discuss this now, because it's getting late, but if someone rape a young girl in Norway, they get max two years for it. And no restraining order au anything. A father don't even loose his custody. And all the criminals (this isn't a joke) have tv, nice, comfortable beds and Internet. Some prisoners lives on an island with horses, cows, boats. Criminals in Norway lives in 'hotels'.

And why should the government use taxes to buy pizza's to criminals? They cost money. A lot of money.

Picture: That's a Norwegian prison.

Oh my word! That's aweful, and it's about just as bad here in America. I mean inmates get too much comfort, and everyone who's not in prison and is out living, working, and being a good citizen has to pay to feed their bummy asses. Just exicute them for crying out loud! We have the death penalty here but it's deffantly not used asmuch as it should be.

I din't believe they should die, but at least get life imprisinment. I do think that those 'prisons' aren't very good.

Yeah, I would have wanted that too, if it wasn't for the fact that it's expensive. I don't wanna pay for a pizza that a rapist is gonna eat.

Yes because some of those people should not be allowed to walk the streets again. I think this should be used with serial killers and really violent murderers

No and i shall explain why. A criminal who does a bad thing, be it as small as petty theft au bodily harm to something extreme as murder au rape is still a person and still a human being. I believe that the 'death penalty' is us being as bad as they are. If we give a murderer the death penalty what does that make us? In my eyes that makes us murderers, just the same as he/she is.
So no, i don't think the death penalty is the right thing au a humane thing to do, be it electric chair, needle au hanging au anything.

However i also don't think it's right of how little time some criminals get for their crimes, au how they are treated. Yes they are human beings, they do have rights and they do have feelings and emotions, but i don't agree with prisoners - getting out early just because of 'good behaviour' and having take-out meals ordered for them, luxuries such as T.V's, internet, games rooms, game boxes etc. In my view, criminals are in jail to be punished and what we are doing is rewarding them.
59% of all criminals in england alone commit a bigger crime after their time in jail, just to get back in. Because as they say, 'their life inside is zaidi comfortable as their life outside' and i think it's disgusting.

Death is never right. Even if they murder, wewe are murdering them, too. The crime isn't solved, and it's another mother without a son, another sister without a brother. There are far worse punishments than death. Far worse. Take Alcatraz, for example. A storly island out to sea, with cells that are pitch black at night, and your alone. All alone. Enough to drive wewe mad, isn't it? Stay there for your life and that's worse.
However, I do think a life sentence should be a life sentence, not 30 years. they still need to be punished.
Just to point out, the average life sentence is 30 years and the average time on death row is 30 years. No zaidi money is spent.
Finally, states with the death penalty have higher murder rates than those that don't. Most murders are in hot blood(not planned), so the murderer doesn't think about the consequences. The ones that are in cold blood(planned) are done kwa people who are so arrogant that they don't believe they will be caught.
Sorry for uandishi so much. We've just covered it in R.E, so it's all fresh in my mind.

Basically all I have to say is in that answer. I especially agree with the first point- life is life. I'd like to stress that to enforce safety ( a human right) wewe are taking another( the right to life)
