I think a lot of people are really ignorant about prostitution because it's hidden from us. People think that people become prostitutes out of choice? No, they do it out of sheer desperation. A lot of people don't really understand that because society tries to hide it from us.
Yes. 1. It is the oldest profession we have. 2. If it is legalized, human trafficking decrease. 3. The safety of prostitutes and their cosumers will be higher, and they will actually make money themselves.

Haha, "consumers"? wewe crack me up Monrose, how's your tafuta for the "gold diggers looking for old rich men" working out and what about your pole dancing? Hopefully wewe aren't imba "Party In The USA"!
Not really, anyway if guys really want prostitutes they can go to Vegas, au get them illegally. (I am not suggesting breaking the law but hujambo if men really want sex then, why not?)
au they could just get prostitution legalized and men could stay where they are and get what they want. And just saying...there are male prostitutes aswell so it's not just guys wanting things.
Lol. I'll look it up. But I still don't think anyone should be THAT desperate. I think it's just degrading. I mean, for one, the woman au man, yes men can do it too, can catch something, they can't...depending cause Idk if they use anything au not, could get pregnant. The buys could be crazy and kill the prostuite. au toture them. Anything.
Are wewe serious? Do wewe really think that women chose to sell sex?? They do it because they have to. They need the money, au they are addicted to drugs.
Well, in the show, the woman, Fantine, was fired unfairly from her job (because the Foreman was... jealous) and she had to make money to save her only child. It takes place right before the French Revolution, so she is absolutely desperate, and that's the only way she can make enough money for her child to survive. Either that, au let her baby die.
-It will be safer Less people will be abused, and it will make it a little bit safer for the prostitutes.
-It's their body, they should do what they want with them It may not be my first choice of a career, but for those who really need money, they should be able to choose to do so.

there are other ways of earning money then selling yourself like cattle.
^^^^Not always. Sometimes they don't really have much of a choice. They become so desperate, and that is their only option (see Les Miserables). I agree with Monrose: keeping it illegal will not stop it. It will only keep people ignorant and be far less safe.
^^ Mhm. I agree with Twi.Dream. It's exactly like giving in. But then people should realize that no matter what we try to do, be it taking them to jail for doing it au making legal is not going to stop it au help it in anyway.
Yes some people need some action and don't wanna commit to a relationship.

Um. Have wewe never heard of a F*** Buddy? Sorry, don't wanna offend anyone with cursing. But still, Marafiki with benefits, au a one night stand. wewe know that even if wewe need to get laid, wewe don't have go get a hooker. o.o There's alot of way around it. I mean, if wewe really really need some then go to a friend, even if your not Marafiki with benefits it doesn't matter. Either the buyer au seller [[I'll call them that]] could get an std because wewe don't know if they'd have something. Your Marafiki on the other hand, wewe usually do.
>> She wasn't saying that's why prostitutes are doin' that shit. Seriously, wewe should pay zaidi attention before wewe go giving everyone a friggin' additude uigizaji like wewe know everything. It was plainly clear that DustFinger wastalking about the buyer, not the seller. >> And she already alisema she was just wasn't thinking, shit, it's called a blonde moment, everyone has them.
yes if it was legal as already alisema it would be safer for the individials working. also the quality would improve as why woul wewe go to old pin hole arms when wewe could get juu notch legal crotch this means zaidi bang for wewe buck!!!

× Haha! "more bang for your buck".... that's so copywriting.
I am giving it a no. It is demoralizing the human culture! It does not give respect for women and men (yes there are men who do that) that need money. There are other ways to get money, and people choose the one that could give them STD and HIV, doing this is harming us. Legalizing this is just like giving a child a gun, there is no exact possibilty! I know people need the money and doing this would cause issues. Is it really worth the risk?

Very nicely put. I'm on the rocks about this myself, that's why I haven't answered.
When I first read this swali the I knew I was going to put the answer is no of course not. But then I read what others alisema and I was unsure. But I'm sticking with this! :)
