Actually I think they changed it so that wewe have to be a member of the spot to be able to get a medal. I remember a while back (a mwaka au 2 ago) wewe could get a medal and not be a member but it's been changed since then.

Edit: I remember I used to have a green medal for the link spot and it no longer shows so no, wewe can not get a medal.
