Anyone willing to help little ol' me?

So, I have Nirvana that I listen to that helps me express myself in my poems and writings. Because his writings showed a lot of expressing himself with how he felt. And his song "Lithium" describes me very well. That song helps me express myself the most. So Nirvana is really important to me. I also upendo Marilyn Manson and Alice In Chains. But my folks won't let me listen to them, because I have this severe depression and I used to be suicidal and cut everywhere. But what they don't get is that I'm not going to get the idea to kill myself over the muziki that I admire. They say once I get out of depression, I'll be able to listen to them. But hell, I'm never going to get out of it! It's nearly impossible. So how can I convince them to let me listen to the muziki that inspires me?

Go up to them....and tell them that wewe will listen to whatever muziki wewe like. That it inspires you. Also that it doesn't give wewe any suicide thoughts AT ALL

Tell the straight up that that kind of muziki inspires wewe to write wonderful poetry that makes wewe proud, but also say that wewe have never thought of any intentions of suicide au hurting yourself.

Did that already.

Then it's obvious you're going to have to change mentally. wewe have to fight off this depression wewe have as best as possible, au up to the point where wewe no longer feel sad all the time.

Tried. It seems like it's permanent.

Your mind is making it sound like an impossible mission, when it really isn't. wewe have to keep throwing yourself at it; it'll never go away if wewe do nothing.

Don't say that you'll never get out of it. Because wewe can, and wewe will (I sound like a shrink DX).
Anyway, maybe wewe should onyesha your folks that it's not making wewe depressed, instead of just telling them.Besides uandishi poetry, what else do wewe like to do? MAybe if wewe take zaidi interest in other things, wewe parents will know you're not just trying to hide your feelings, secretly waiting for the right time.
If you'd rather not, and wewe really like to write poetry, then try to explain to them that uandishi lets out all your pent-up emotion, and makes wewe feel better, and the muziki helps with letting it out.
But, always know, that they're doing this because they upendo you.

I hope this helps, though it probably doesn't. If wewe need zaidi advice, a friend, au just somebody to listen, I'm here. :)

onyesha wewe folks that it inspires you, and don't say wewe won't ever get out of the depression, because there are ways.
