can wewe wear jewelry in the shower?

i got this new sterling silver faith inspiration mkufu from target -_-
i've had some other fancier zaidi expensive faith/cross necklaces in the past, like this old pendant that i got from my mom that was about 20 years old made from sterling silver, and i wore it in the kuoga and it never rusted au changed color au anything. it mostly sparkled(:
so i wondered if i could wear this new mkufu in the kuoga au to the pool au beach, pwani too? would it change colors au rust au tarnish? its kinda cheap O.o
