I also currently have a friend who's bi, her name is Jen. And I'm bi myself ^_^

Um, I don't think it <i>matters</i>. Being gay au straight does not make wewe a better <i>or</i> worse person either way. Yo, straight people can be nice and funny and help wewe in hard times, for you, it sounds like wewe have a good friend (or friends) who also happened to be gay but that has nothing to do with it. And directed all of homophobekind, it does not make them <i>worse</i> people, either! So... yeah.
