I Want To Buy Something With My Own Money, But My Mum Says No. What Do I Do?

I want to get a hat with my own money, that I've earned myself, so shouldn't I get the rights to buying what I want? My mum won't let me. I remember her saying;

'I don't care what wewe buy with your own money!'

Me: 'Okay! Can I buy this then?'

Mum: 'No.'

I can understand parents not wanting their kids to buy all sorts of crap that will mess up their house... say wewe wanted to buy a giant pink kinanda (I dunno.. I panicked), that could be understandable because that would take up so much space and be super annoying. If there is nothing offensive about the hat, explain to your mum that wewe believe wewe deserve to buy the hat, because wewe worked hard to earn the money to buy it.

My mum doesn't want me to buy the hat because it's a bit 'expensive' but, it's the only one I can find as I want to use it for a cosplay. I asked in the first place because I needed her credit card details :\ Thanks though!! My mum alisema maybe though, she's think about it. xD A giant pink kinanda :D

If wewe really want it that badly and think it'll be useful, keep asking her every so often until she finally gives in. And try to give her some reasons that might persuade her. But, don't ask her every sekunde until she gets so annoyed, she'll most likely not let wewe get the hat.
