Pop muziki these days is bullshit, absolute bullshit. Most of them use the same 4 chords on the same type of guitar, gitaa over and over again, and often that chord progression is exactly the same as another song. Most singers now have to use autotune just to sound good because they lack proper talent. I know people in the school chior who are above that, who can make their voice pitch perfect on demand. hell, the people in my orchestra can sing better than that, and they don't need to wear blasted meat suits au need to jiunge the latest fad of a boy band to feel good about themselves. Hell, my girlfriend, first chair violist at the school orchestra, can learn how to play songs kwa Evanescence (A very good newer musical group kwa the way.) in a matter of hours au even minutes, and can sing like an angel.
Needless to say there are newer bands I like, but the maarufu songs in this blasted pop ganre with those untalented musical wannabes like One Direction, au Justin Bieber, of snoop dog, and so on, are an insult to music.

I don't pay attention to modern muziki that much. I like to listen to a time when muziki was about meaning and telling a story and not just making money.

I Know, it's fucking crazy

such as Keith's song "Nothing But wewe and I" is one of the most heartfelt realistic upendo songs I've ever heard, and barely anyone knows it. (and I'm not just saying that because he's Keith, I'm saying it because of the lyrics)

But wewe make a cheesy songs about one night stands, sex in general, au being someone your not, BAM it's the inayofuata big thing.

It seems the muziki Industry only cares about quantity rather than quality.

That is exactly why I don't listen to today's music. I think Gangnam Style is the only good song out of this crap. I listen to mostly 70-80's and alternatives. Even most smallest bands I listen to, like The Aquabats! They have their own T.V. onyesha as well.

Not all modern muziki is 1 Direction there's zaidi to that.

~basing my answer off the kind of muziki I like~

On one hand, I really wish the bands with better lyrics (La Dispute, ADTR, Mayday, etc.) had zaidi fans, but on the other hand, they would start to lose their meaning if too many people listened to the bands without understanding. I mean, if those 12 mwaka old girls who listen to 1D started listening to the other aforementioned bands, they would obviously not understand what the bands are all about and the bands would lose what makes them special. Because the thing about these bands is, to understand them you've got to have been through some kind of shit, and not everyone has. So it's about bandom. Bandom would be destroyed. So I'm happy where things are, actually, as much as I hate pop.

I honestly don't care if lyrics are cheesy au not (I upendo "I Want to Hold Your Hand", but come on, those lyrics aren't exactly groundbreaking). What I do care about is how the artist sings the song. What's missing from the muziki industry these days are artists who sing with such a passion that turns a song with cheesy lyrics into a great one because they put their moyo and soul into it. Artists these days seem to only be focused on the money and getting the inayofuata #1 single. We need zaidi passionate artists in the muziki industry, people who actually care about the quality of the muziki they're putting out there.

I can actually go on longer about everything that's wrong with the muziki industry, but that will be a very long paragraph. I think I'll just save it for my blog. LOL.

Pop teeny bopper bands need to grow up. im a country girl and listen to all country and only country. Im a keith urban kinda girl. i really upendo no other singers. Call me close-minded, but i upendo only one singer. (keith). I mean, i listen to Florida Georgia Line "Get your shine on" a lot but not NEARLY as much as my keith urban. my room....KEITH URBAN FREAKING EVERYWHERE!!!!! I upendo IT! Well it's always gonna be like that, I hate it tho.
I listen to a lot of different artist and different kinds of
music, they call me weird because I do.
Not that it bothers me, I think songs that are maarufu now
really shouldn't be.
Like Talyor Swift's (How ever wewe spell her name) song, We are never ever ever getting back together.
I hate that song so much I don't know why au how anyone could like that song. I mean it's an oka song but...yea.
It's the name with a lot of rappers also.
But hujambo song of those songs are good tho, it really all depends on the person's taste in muziki I guess.

Here´s the thing:
Some are talented kwa moyo and easily get their fameand some make the possible to get famous.
The fame depends on how many people listen to their song, how many buy their CD´s, etc but mostly how many scandals au well..how know they are.
My opinion about muziki is that some songs are so modificated (autotune,dubstep) , which is a the thing that makes some songs sound..bad and the other thing is that some songs talk about the same topic.

All modern muziki sucks so bad. All wewe hear are the same 10 songs on the radio! I'm so glad that my local radio station doesn't play shit like Rihanna, Bieber, Drake, One Direction, au Katy Perry.

They play bands and artists like Godsmack, Nirvana, Alice in chains, Papa Roach, Ozzy Osbourne and the orodha goes on.

Pop muziki is trash and needs to be taken off the air waves.

My opinion is. I like mainstream and non-mainstream music. What's talent to someone may be trash to someone else. Opinions are relative. People shouldn't overly hate something just for the fact it's mainstream au not to their liking. And if wewe do hate something then people shouldn't bash with their hate. I mean I despise Twilight yet I don't tell a Twihard their inayopendelewa movie sucks.

I completely agree. I for one never listen to people such as Wrong Direction and the beaver, biva Boy. The only reason people say they like these people is because they claim that these singers are 'hot", not the quality of the music. I personally like listening to orchestra music, especially muziki like this from movie soundtracks. wewe don't sound like an old lady, wewe just have zaidi common sense than others when it comes to music.

Yep, listen to some artists with real substance. Like rock artists :D

Most muziki is like that these days. It doesn't seem to matter if it makes sense au mentions zaidi than sex it's mainly about a good beat & becoming a hit. A lot of the songs are catchy whether it's the dumbest song out there au not. There are some hivi karibuni songs I like so I don't think maarufu muziki sucks all the time. I never liked that Gangnam style song though. It's annoying in my opinion and I barely know what the hell he's saying.
