Her face lit up every memory of his existence. Dr. Gerald told her once everyday that he loved her.

Myzak spat. Once the machine was finished, he'd get rid of Dr. Gerald once and for all. "It's a living heck." He kept telling himself. All he needed was a chaos emerald, and it'd be done. How to acquire the chaos zumaridi, zamaradi was the problem...but not for long...

Rouge's fingers moved swiftly across the keys. "Why can't I just find that chaos zumaridi, zamaradi first?" She whined. "It'd be a lot easier than trying to hack into GUN computers." (Gun was the security system working for the President of Station Square, Earth.)

Shadow tried not to onyesha his annoyance. He himself was Lost in midst of numbers, dates, and computer codes. It wasn't that foreign, but still. Rouge's complaining would be the death of him. That, au the death of their secrecy.

"Honestly, Shadow." She continued. "I don't know anything about the computers. Her wings fluttered slightly as she began to float to the inayofuata computer. "It's driving me batty just looking at these complex codes."

Stupidity was always her greatest flaw, Shadow tough. Overriding the security would be tougher, but at least he understood it. The dark hedgehog needed that information. Patience was running out.

Suddenly, Rouge screamed. Rouge wasn't the type of girl au bat who would scream. Something was wrong. Shadow spun around to see Rouge knocked unconscious on the floor. Looming over her, like a dark cloud, was a cloaked figure. The eyes were the only things that the hedgehog actually saw. They were ice blue.

"Be careful about your inayofuata move." he raised a tazer. "I wouldn't try to attack anyone else."

A flash of light. The tazter dropped from Shadow's hand. Blood. Shadow looked to the wall, where the flash had stopped. A dagger stuck out like a sore thumb.

"You mean business, I see." He frowned. "That would be your last mistake." He began to songesha at the speed of sound, attaking his opponent. He failed to mame the assassin.

The assassin clutched onto his wrists. Martial arts took over. Shadow kicked. It let go. They wrestled, blocked each other's movements, and attacked.

Shadow gained the upperhand. He slapped the attacker to the ground. It crumpled up into a ball. He picked up the tazer again, thinking the attacker was a part of GUN...and then...

The assassin was a girl. She took off her hood. She was a black fox, mbweha with ice blue eyes. Fear stained her face.

"Who are you? Speak!" Shadow raised his voice, still approaching her. She shook her head. She put one finger in the air. Then, she put her whole hand on her throat and opened her mouth. "You can't speak? You're a mute?" Shadow asked. She nodded.

"Of course she can't speak." Rouge's voice sounded voice. "That's an assassin from our planet. I had to follow one once upon a time ago. She's probably been selected because of her skill AND her silence."

"For what? She's not the bravest." Shadow looked disapprovingly at the fox. In repsonse, she held up a broach. On it, read Lilith, Assassin in Training. She pointed at Shadow, and then immitated a kisu slicing her throat with her finger.

"She's probably supposed to kill the Ultimate Life form." Rouge flew over to Shadow's side. Lilith shook her head. "Then, you're supposed to kill of Shadow's clones?" Rouge asked. Lilith nodded. "Fine," Rouge stood at akimbo, "You need to stick with us until we figure out if this is a clone au not. That's why we're here. If Shadow is a clone, wewe can dispose of him. If not..."

A computer flashed. Shadow spun around to see the words, "ARK INVASION."

"What does that mean?" Rouge asked.

"I'm not sure, but..." Shadow's fingers raced across the keys again. picha flashed across the screen. It was a movie. Dr. Gerald Robonik, Shadow's creator, was placing a memory chip into someone's head. It was a yellow cat with read hair. On the screen flashed a word. "Myzak."

Suddenly, an idea formed in Shadow's head. "We need to find that tomcat!" He announced. "You, Lilith, are going to get your answer soon enough."
