Once upon a time there was a handsome prince named Geoff that lived in a shining ngome although he had everything his moyo ever wanted he was spoiled selfish and unkind. One winter night an old beggar women came to the ngome and offered a single rose in return for shelter from the uchungu, chungu cold, repulsed kwa her hideous appearence the prince sneared at the gift and turned the old woman away, but she warned him not to be diseaved kwa appearences for beauty is found within. When he dismissed her again the hags ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress Prince Geoff tried to apoligize but it was too late for she could see that there was no upendo in his moyo and as punishment she transformed him into a hideous beast that in legends was called Duncan and place a powerful spell on the ngome and all who live there. Ashamed of his monsterous form he consiled himself inside his ngome with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was an Enchanted rose if he could learn to upendo another and earn her upendo in return before the last petal fell the spell would be broken if not he would remain a beast forever he begane to loose hope. For who could ever learn to upendo a beast?

In the village there's a beautiful young peasent girl named Bridgette she's the most beautiful girl in her village. Though she's beautiful people find her odd because she reads vitabu and acts like a girl with a brain and isn't calling all over Justin. Justin intended to marry her beautiful she's the most beautiful girl in the village making her the best and he thinks he deserves the best.
