This forum was created because Tanglebelly, Bluefire7777 and myself have been the only ones around for a little while now and we wanted a way to edit the forum and have someone in command. We can always go back to KatieK102's forum if she returns, but for now this is the working forum.
Also, I'd like to start listing mates along with descriptions, so if I've missed a pairing please let me know.

Before we move on to harder prey we're going to work on the proper hunters crouch I didn't teach you this before you hunted for your nice because I wanted to see what you already instinctually know. Instincts can be good enough to catch easy prey like that but with harder prey you need to fine tune your skills as a hunter -Sheepfluff

As a hunter you want to store all of your power and energy in your hind legs the hunters crouch allows you to build that energy then release forward with a large pounce to deliver a killing bite to your prey *goes over to Wrenpaw and puts his paw on his behind pushing it down more and flattening his tail just above the grass* keep your hind end down to store the energy it requires good strength to hold the position but once you release you'll have a strong pounce and keep your tail low but not so that it's brushing against the grass don't want to alert the prey of your presence -Brownnut

Treepaw you have to balance yourself completely before leaping forward your legs are long which will help with length but they won't be as strong so in order to have a good core and balence you'll need to work on building muscle as well -Sheepfluff

That's what you want to avoid because that's how they cause damage. But you cab counter. If they do get under you grab onto them and roll. It'll throw them off guard. Or you can drop your weight on them. -Hushpool
