I've never made one but when I tried to figure out how a website said:
wewe need to download specific things, and In order to get the anime clips wewe need to take a DVD of the anime and burn the disc into your computer. wewe now have the clips. Then (I think) wewe go into ITunes and pick a song wewe would want to use.
If wewe have all of those things wewe can then do your own research and put your video in pieces and build it together ~
wewe can download the clips of your fav anime. From which ever website. Get the song wewe want. download. wewe can wewe sony vegas that wewe can download for free. ( Thats what most people on Youtube use.I'm not about to get into that tho. ) au wewe can use some other thing to add effects. au just use simple wmm. Which wewe do have on your computer. It's zaidi difficult than it looks, but it depends. for a newperson.
There are quite a few programs wewe could download, but none for free (unless you're good at that kind of thing) so if wewe have windows, wewe should have a pre-installed program called windows movie maker. With that all wewe need to have is the downloaded video (try googling where wewe can download them for free) and editing them to muziki in the program. If wewe don't have the song already, I would try to convert the song from a Youtube video to mp3 (again, just Google it.)

I've never made one but currently I'm trying to hariri one from a friend to make it my own and the program I'm using is Windows Movie Maker not easy with this program (bit of a pain sometimes) and the program automatically came with my computer so I can't tell wewe where au how to get it.
But some people on wewe Tube say in the description what program they used for the making of their AMV.
I downloaded some episodes in mp4 format. Then, I went into Windows Live Movie Maker and used a bunch of different effects and animations. Movie Maker isnt the best program, but its a start.
well I've never made one but a free movie editor that's WAY better than Windows is called lightworks don't worry its free to! link and if wewe want to download sinema from Youtube into MP4 I suggest using a site called Keepvid which is also free link
