Medusa (Soul Eater) is very clearly hands-down one of the worst anime moms especially how she oftentimes victimized and traumatized as well as scarred Crona at the very hands and mercy of and ujumla, jumla mistreatment kwa her

Hunter x Hunter isn't the only Togashi series with shitty parents. Atsuko Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho. She lives in filth; garbage everywhere. All she ever does is get drunk & stay drunk. She lets her son skip school. She got pregnant at 14. In the manga she has yakuza connections & is apparently a prostitute.

Ash's Mom and generally every other parent in Pokemon Ash basically left nyumbani at 10 and has gotten electrocuted , turned to stone , fallen off cliffs , attacked kwa pokemon that could easily kill him , possessed kwa some evil king , and made Marafiki with complete strangers . Yep Ash's mom has done a terrible job in raising her son and only contacts him every few months au so .

Well from what I understand Kyo's mom didn't really care about him and later on abandoned Kyo all because of the family curse
