Harry Potter dhidi ya Twilight Club

Alright, so here I am again in the makala section. And with the strangest topic yet.

I'm extending an apology to youknowit101 for my numerous mild to severe transgressions of civility against him. I am also apologising for losing my temper yesterday and to be honest, I don't think the evening of December 12th 2010 on the Harry Potter vs. Twilight spot was very enjoyable.

Now, I am going to analyse this bloody debacle from start to current, and give wewe my opinions afterwards.
I first encountered cassie-1-2-3 when someone worshipping the Holy Potatoe as a running gag told me she had levied "blasphemy" against them.
My first impressions maybe weren't so nice, I thought honestly that she was a bit arrogant - apologies right there - but I am not a person to even consider expressing and supporting that thought infinitely. I told the persons complaining about the blasphemy to mildly inform her that they were hurt but not to take to agression and then left the subject there.

Later, I had an full scale constructive debate where I was grudgingly defeated, contrary to what zaidi narrowminded personages would be thinking, I was starting to respect her. Even zaidi later, I had another full scale debate with youknowit101 where things boiled down to why he was generalising so much in link on the Twilight spot. I relented on the bare assertions and didn't pursue the matter to it's end, but it ended not very amicably.

Days later, we all know what picha were popping up, and here the real problems started. Incivility was increasing rampantly and allowed a generally gloomy mood to settle down on the spot.
Now to address and explain this gloominess: Honestly, I think each and everyone here knows that there are a lot of anti-Twi picha present, some of them even rabidly so, and we regret that. But to address this problem with zaidi anti-HP picha is fruitless, for it will only spawn zaidi ill feelings on this spot.
There are three recognised ways to address such a problem, in descending order of magnitude:

1. ripoti the image - I would consider this only in the most extreme cases, and if so I might ripoti the user as well.
2. Tell the person posting it what wewe feel, I don't care if it is kwa PM au commenting, just make sure your opinions are seen au heard.
3. Ignore it if it is really harmless.

In none of the cases should one counter-provoke the opposite side, because it is a long established fact that foistering fighting solves nothing.

But sadly, noone has done those things, instead, people - including me - has argued back and forth link. And so I think, this is why we're standing in the middle of this literal sea of bullshit and yelling bullshit at each other.
What do wewe mashabiki suggest to solve this mess? And a note, zaidi fighting is not a viable solution.

So I have heard/read a LOT of arguments over this topic, and I find it ridiculous. Here are some reasons why they can't be compared with each other:

1- uandishi styles. Rowling writes in a descriptive third-person, whereas Meyer writes in a first-person account of a seventeen mwaka old girl. wewe can't expect Bella to talk like a professional poet of some sort, I doubt many average teenage girls do that.

2- Plot. Harry Potter is mainly about wizards and fighting. Twilight is about Wanyonya damu and romance... Totally the same (Major burning sarcasm).

3- Audience. Harry Potter is aimed for children. Before...

Both twilight and harry potter are very successful, especially among teenagers. Some people keep arguing about which is better, though in my opinion, THEY SHOULDN'T BE COMPARED!

Now, i have to admit i upendo both series! I'd say harry potter is unisex and appropriate for all ages, whilst twilight adresses mainly to teenage girls. HP talks about friendship and love, while twilight is zaidi romantic! Also, hp gives lessons of life, although maybe in some cases, i would prefer kusoma twilight.

Finally, They are both written kwa two very talented and imaginative writers, j.k rowling and stephenie meyer. They wrote these vitabu to give teens (and not only) inspiration and time of happiness. So, if wewe don't like one of these two series, don't blame them! We can't all have the same tastes!

She gestured to a row of wooden
chairs against the wall. The looked like they belonged with someone’s dinning room
table.
“Okay,” I agreed. I walked over to the chairs and sat right in the middle,
suddenly wishing I had a book. I hadn’t read anything for a while, outside of school.
And even then, when some ridiculous upendo story was part of the curriculum, I would
cheat with cliff notes. It was a relief to be working on Animal Farm now. But there had
to be other salama books. Political thrillers. Murder mysteries. Grisly murders were no
problem; just as long as there was no starry-eyed,...

The World is flat!
Well, I know wewe swali my sanity, now. Obviously, the world is round and that’s a proven fact, from the moment Galileo stepped out of his ship. And now, there’s a swali again. Is the World really round? I hate that word, really. The word which gives rise to a lot of maswali and seeks for explanations.
‘Imagination is zaidi important than knowledge,’ alisema a wise man once. And, it’s true. Well, wewe need not be aware of the complications of four-dimensional space fabric to accept this theory. What all wewe need to...

Before wewe read this, i must tell wewe something a little important. wewe may dilike my opinions, and i can deal with it. But this is just what i think, and why i choose both books.

Lets get down to the movie versus books.
Im talking vitabu here people, not the movie stars who play them, not witch guy is hotter, who has zaidi abs. NOT talking about that. Im speaking about how good both Twilight and Harry Potter (or other way around because i have seen mashabiki fight about who i type in first...witch in truth is really childish) is.
Harry Potter. Its a very detailed and continuous story. I like how the...

Hi, everyone :)

I first want to apologize for my leaving, and never telling anyone that I decided to go, why I wanted to go, any good-bye's etc. It's been something that has bothered me for a little while, and I truly apologize for that.

A friend of mine told me that someone asked about me on here, so I thought that I could write an makala explaining why I left and why I decided to come back.

You see, around the time I stopped coming here, I was having problems with my life outside Fanpop. I don't want to talk about it, but I will say that it had a lot to do with friends, family, and school and...

Once there was a young teenage girl named Hadley. She was walking around at the local maktaba looking for some new vitabu to read. While she was there, Hadley stumbled upon something. It was a black hardback book with two hands holding an apple with the word, "Twilight" on it. This interested Hadley and she decided to buy it. When she did, she got hooked. Hadley bought the other three vitabu and after she read them, became a Twitard. She even started to think that Harry Potter and all the other ndoto vitabu she liked weren't as good as Twilight. She drew pictures of the characters, wrote fangirl...
