Because My Taste In vitabu Is Just That Awesome

It's easy to point out the negatives in the things we don't like. Likewise, it's also easy to point out the positives in those things which we love. Difficult, it is, to accept the positives in that which we hate, and the negatives in that which we enjoy. Today, I would like to point out to wewe solely the positives. And it's a good thing I like both things that I intend to praise because otherwise I might find this a difficult endevour to pursue.

In short, I'm gonna tell wewe what's good about both HP and Twi. These might seem a bit repetitive to wewe but, hey, great vitabu must have something in common if their both so great (which these are =D!)

Eight Things I Like About Twilight

1) We have vampires. We have werewolves. We have half-breeds. Let's hear it for ndoto fiction! If wewe don't like mythical creatures wewe should really make like a Hufflepuff and find yourself a new genre.
2) We have shimmering people. How epically awesome would it be if wewe could sparkle? I wish that I was that shiny...
3) The insight into Bella's thoughts (what with it being 1st person p.o.v. and all). I think it helps devolp the character's personality in your mind when wewe can see what's in theirs.
4) The plotline. Throughout the series we have love, close calls, revenge, violence, anticipation, pain, joy, rage, reunion... (Goodness, I sound like the grandpa at the beginning of "The Princess Bride" movie x))
5) It's very well written. Meyer put her own spin on the classic creatures like many authors before her; she didn't just try to remake Dracula. Also, she made it all seem so realistic, just the way I like my absurdly impossible kusoma materials.
6) The series is not, as it has been alisema before, just about Bella, Edward, Jacob, and their upendo triangle. It's not just a saga of romance novels. It has humor. I upendo humor. Alice, the chanzo of comic relief, when placed inayofuata to Edward, is sure to spark up an argument that shall have me laughing in no time. I upendo Alice. X3
7) wewe can find bits of yourself in the characters. They're not painted as completely perfect people (or creatures, au whatever) even though Bella believes so at times. (see #5b)- They seem like they could actually be people, they don't seem fake and perfect.
8) The cars. There are some pretty darn pretty cars in those books. Volvos...

Eight Things I Like About Harry Potter

1) We have wizards. We have beasts. We have half-breeds. Let's hear it for ndoto fiction! If wewe don't like mythical creatures wewe should really make like a Hufflepuff and find yourself a new genre.
2) They. Are. Magical. A flick of your wand, and wewe can get an ice cream cone from the jikoni without getting up. Can wewe say "Awesome!!"?
3) Though it may not be 1st person, wewe still get to learn what Harry's thinking. It's like a kuvuka, msalaba between 1st and 3rd person. I'm sure there's a word for it I don't know.
4) The plotline. Throughout the series we have love, close calls, revenge, violence, anticipation, pain, joy, rage, reunion... (Goodness, I sound like the grandpa at the beginning of "The Princess Bride" movie x)) Am I getting repetative yet?
5) It's the well written tale of a boy who goes from pure innocence to maturity. Rowling beautifully tells a segment of a kid's life. (My point here is that it's written very nicely, unlike this point is.)
6) It may seem a saga of adventure novels, just violence and suspence, but the theme of the book is much zaidi than that. Harry learns on his trek through the years at Hogwarts that love, family, friends, and the like is what wewe need most to survive. The theme of the vitabu is love. Good vs. Evil.
7) wewe can relate to the characters in Harry's story as well. It's quite easy indeed to see bits of yourself in Harry, no matter your age au gender. Even though they are magical witches and wizards, they still seem so real as well.
8) They're transportation. They. Are. Magical. Need to pick something up from the store? No problem. Just go to the cleaning closet. au hey, hop into the fireplace. Oh, wewe don't need to go to all that trouble, just turn around! You're there in seconds. Goodness me, wewe don't know how many times I've wished I could apparate.

So there wewe go. Those are only a few of the things I upendo from two series I love. None of the points from each orodha are being taken in comparasion to the other series, as this would not prove to be either true au profitible to my point. Thank you. I hope wewe enjoyed and did not perish while wewe were reading, as I don't happen to have any morgues on me at the moment.

;D
Intelligence, I was not born with. Talent, minimal. Endurance, plenty. I wish I could be a Hermione Granger. The world is a cruel place for a woman and a brainy one at that. The close I come to is a Ron Weasley.

Hermione, from her introduction, comes off as a snooty know-it-all. An outcast who never gets along with anybody because she knows too much. But as we songesha on in the series she becomes the strongest pillar of the trio. She thrives on competition and always comes on top. Being a muggle-born and to be accepted into the wizard-world she faces discrimination and isolation from many but...

I found these fascinating, thought wewe guys might too, :)

Bellatrix - “Bella” is a construct of the word “bellum” meaning “war” and “trix” refers to “a woman in power.” Bellatrix is therefore known as the “Female Warrior” and is also the pale yellow nyota indicating the left shoulder of the constellation Orion, the Great Hunter.

Blaise - Blaise was the teacher of Merlin. From the Roman name Blasius, which means “lisping.” From the Latin “blaesus.” A famous bearer was Blaise Pascal, a French mathematician and philosopher.

OK, there are millions of people who write thest kind of articles, but please try and control your patience, and read this.

The Love
Harry Potter has love. Not lust.
Hermione didn't stare and Ron and say "OMG he is soooo hot, I am in love" no, Hermione and Ron started of as hating each other. Halfway through their first mwaka they became friends. In HBP and DH they both started getting feelings for each other. They upendo each other for who they are. That is real love. Twilight on the other hand has no real love. Bella and Edward fall in upendo with each other, they kiss, Bella gets pregnant. ALL THIS...

One thing I've noticed in general is that anti's tend to make a pretty big deal out of the Twilight Wanyonya damu sparkling. I've seen people saying things like real Wanyonya damu don't sparkle, Wanyonya damu not sparkling was a fact, and that it was gay of them to sparkle. Okay, of ALL the things to criticize in Twilight, people are going after the SPARKLING? Seriously?

First off, at least where I'm from, calling something “gay” as an insult is considered really rude and distasteful. Besides being rude and homophobic, it's also generalizing and stereotyping. Just because something sparkles doesn't make...

I was typing up an response to iluvtwilight_ for my personal enjoyment when someone reported the swali and had it removed. I felt much frustration as what was once a very entertaining activity was reduced to pointlessness. This makes an already depressed person like me zaidi depressed. Siriusly, I want to committ suicide now...

No, I don't... not yet. But I considered leaving for a brief moment.
But to address this problematic issue. I present: link. O.o What's this? Wikipedia has a specific project devoted to adding humour to the site? OMG, on such a serious site?

Yes, even on such a serious...

Discussion regarding Twilight Wanyonya damu and reply to Drisina at link

First Part:
The thing is Drisina, one cannot kwa fiat change a legend to whatever one very well pleases with. Wanyonya damu have been in mythology from the 17th century, e.g. Countess Elizabeth Bathory who alledgedly drank her female servants blood to stay young.

So what Stephenie Meyer does is that she takes the vampire-myth, and discards the gorier details and imperfections, replaces them with what she thinks they should be and et voila, we have Edward Cullen.

Now I shall dissect why most people think its a bad thing to do. Recall...

The Volturi and The Death Eaters have a lot in common. This makala points out the features of The Death Eaters that the Volturi seem to have as well.
Before I begin, wewe have to remember that The Death Eaters were here first – so the Volturi copied them, not the other way around. Now, the leaders of the Volturi are –unless I’m very much mistaken – Aro, Marcus, and Caius. The leader of The Death Eaters is Lord Voldemort.
The Dark Lord can perform Legilemency, which is rather like mind reading, whatever Snape says. Aro can read minds too. The Dark Lord needs eye contact, Aro needs a...

Severus Snape. The man we all hated. Then loved. Then went back to hating. And then we positively loathed him. But, after, we found out hi story. And, when we knew the truth, what did we feel? Love.
Yes, we ended up loving Severus Snape. Because, once we knew HIS side of the story, it was clear.
Snape had a difficult childhood, which probably led to his disturbed adulthood. But we knew nothing about this until we read The Deathly Hallows. And after we found out, found out exactly what he had suffered through, our emotions changed. Snape is one of the deepest characters in Harry Potter, and...

It’s been a while since i am here in this Harry Potter vs Twilight community. Now, being a die hard Harry Potter shabiki my vote always go for the same, but I feel kwa criticizing any of the two of them is insulting the world of story writing. I give it a thought why this whole Harry Potter vs Twilight thing is started and all that comes to me is a memory of mine. At some point I liked Twilight (though not as much as I am obsessed with Harry Potter). Then one siku I had an argument with a friend of mine & naturally I sided with Harry Potter but hearing illogical criticism turned me against...

Ok, time for the other side of the story, in other words, time for another interview with a Twilight “hater”. Her name is Izabella, aka: venvargie! Let’s get started!

Could wewe introduce yourself please!

Hah, okay well I'm Izabella. But I usually go kwa Ven on the interwebz. I'm turning 16 in a few months and I don't watch a lot of TV so I don't have a inayopendelewa onyesha xD.

What is it that wewe hate about Twilight?

Well, I hate the sparkling thing the most. Growing up, I watched all kinda of scary vampire sinema with my older brother and they were always the kind that died in the light and vanted...

Heellooooo!!!! I'm feeling rather bila mpangilio today so I thought I'd take a leaf out of Emma's rather large, leather bound book and do a stupid Harry Potter quiz. It's not actually a story, just a bila mpangilio collection of letters put together to form a bila mpangilio collection of words which will, in turn, provide a bila mpangilio collection of potentially amusing sentences. So, enjoy my little freaks!!!
Beware: If wewe have no sense of humour: DO NOT ENTER!!!
PS. I decided to post this on this spot as well as the HP one because everyone seems so mad at the opposition so I thought they might need a laugh :)

The "jejemon" mania is spreading in my country like mad.

I am a Filipino and Im getting really upset because almost half of the 'jejemon' population is in my country. Even my Marafiki greet me through text messages '.,inN DisZ qKinD oFv m4nN3Rr.,' and Im now confused if they're simply Twihards au just some bunch of lunatics. I am also sad because when I tafuta what 'jejemon' means it always come up with explanations that involve my country, am I gonna deny that I am a Filipino? will I curse them all because they're all proud of it? will I beg them to stop the stupidity? I know my options will...

I just wanted to cut out this snippet and paste it here because I completely agree here. There is no being that's invincible, no matter how unnecessarily overpowered wewe make them.

Meyer thinks that humans are limited to two types of weapons: guns and slow-moving bombs. Oh, Meyer. wewe silly, silly bitch. There is one thing that we humans have been consistently good at since we first picked up a rock and looked speculatively at that kobe, kasa hiding smugly inside of its shell:...

I cannot stress strongly enough the contempt I have for the franchise of Twilight. au at least the book. The films are zaidi funny than anything else, and honestly I don't hate any of the cast an crew working on it. Having read the chanzo material, I can see they had little to work with.
Harry Potter, on the other hand... I like. I don't upendo it; I'm no Potterhead kwa any means, however much I might have been in the past. But it will always hold a very special place for me. I grew up with the vitabu and films, kusoma and seeing them years apart from each other - growing up along with the characters...
