No Time 07.14.16

“Maurice!” Julien cried from his throne.

Maurice trudged up to him, not even trying to hide his contempt. “Yes, your majesty?”

“I need another smoothie,” Julien said, propping his head up with one paw while rubbing his chest with the other. He coughed and wheezed. “I can feel my time approaching . . . so make it with extra maembe, embe for the extra sweet-y-ness-ness . . .”

Maurice rolled his eyes. “You alisema your time was approaching two days ago,” he said.

“Well, how should I know, Maurice? I am not Clair’s Voyage!” Julien alisema before coughing again.

“It’s clairvoyant . . .” Maurice grumbled under his breath as he approached the blender.

“Maurice?” Mort called softly as Maurice proceeded to make a smoothie.

“Yes, Mort?” Maurice sighed.

“What are we going to do when King Julien is” — Mort gasped — “the d-word?” he asked as he gripped his tail and whimpered.

Maurice rolled his eyes. “Mort, he’s not gonna die,” he said, dropping another maembe, embe into the mixer.

“But, Maurice, he’s so sick!” Mort cried softly. “Do wewe think there’s a cure?”

Maurice groaned under his breath again. “No, there’s no cure, but it’ll pass.”

Mort sniffled. “How do wewe know?” he asked, on the verge of crying.

Maurice sighed impatiently. “Because he doesn’t have a life-threatening illness,” he insisted.

Mort gripped his tail tighter. “Then what is it? What makes him cough and sneeze and wheeze so much? If it has no cure then how will he be healed?” he asked, whimpering.

“Maurice!” Julien cried from the throne, his voice even zaidi nasally when he yelled. “What is taking so long with my smoothie? I could be dead before wewe come back!”

Correction, Maurice thought, you’ll be dead when I come back . . .

He turned the blender on and turned to Mort. “Look, Mort. I promise you, Julien will be fine. He’s just being a drama king. Why don’t wewe go score some zaidi cough syrup from the zoo hospital, hm?”

Mort looked over at Julien, who was writhing in his throne, and winced. “Okay,” he alisema before hurrying off.

Switching off the blender, Maurice returned to Julien with his smoothie. “Here wewe are, King Julien,” he said, handing up the smoothie.

Julien sniffed. “It’s about time,” he alisema impatiently. “I thought I saw a light for a dakika there.”

Maurice rolled his eyes. He swore he was getting close to being able to see his brain back there. “That’s because wewe stared at the sun for ten dakika and now your seeing spots.”

“Oh,” Julien cried out after a sip of the smoothie, “so now your some kind of doctor, hm? What do wewe know?” he said, sipping some zaidi of his smoothie.

“No, but it doesn’t take one,” Maurice argued under his breath.

“Hey, lower mammal!”

Maurice turned as Skipper and the penguins hopped over their ukuta carrying Mort. “You wanna explain why Sad Eyes was trying to break into the zoo hospital kwa digging under the wall?” Skipper asked, holding up the small lemur.

Maurice slapped his palm to his forehead. After taking a moment to gather himself, he looked back up. “He was supposed to be getting some cough syrup for our terminal king,” he mumbled.

“Terminal?” Kowalski inquired. “What on earth does he have?”

Julien writhed in his kiti cha enzi again. “A ghastly disease! A disease to end all diseases! An illness most fatal! I may not live to see another sunrise!” he cried, dramatically holding his arm up and looking into the sky.

Maurice took a deep breath. “What he means is . . . a cold. He has a cold.”

The tallest and the smartest penguin, auk locked himself in his lab again. Not always is he the sharpest kisu in the drawer. He tried drilling the door but last time he did this, he was stupid enough to replace the door with one of the hardest material know to man.

“Dang it!” Kowalski alisema drilling the door. It didn't even make a dent in the door. “Why did I even use this material??”

“Alright time for another theory.” Kowalski picked up one of Rico's moto guns that he was making modifications to and adding zaidi tools to use. “Fire in the hole!” Kowalski yelled blasting the door....

Skipper, the brave fierce leader, alisema he would never cry. Obviously, he hadn't had this happen yet. On the ground infront of him was the craziest penguin, auk of them all Rico. His fallen comrad was to injured to be fixed.

"Rico!" Skipper alisema shaking the wounded penguin. "Don't wewe dare die on me! Be strong!"

Rico's eyes looked like they were glued shut. They wouldn't open no matter what. Blood from where the lazer had hit him. "Rico please!"

"Well Peng-you-in." The phychotic Dr.Blowhole smirked, moving inayofuata to the very depressed penguin. "Looks like your team is one short. Once again I have become...

The penguins were now making their way through the streets of New York. Skipper was on point, signaling for his men to go when the time was right. So far so good. Not a soul has seen them yet…well…except for a rottweiler, rotweiller that an unfortunate dog-walker had to deal with as it barked for what seemed like forever.

Skipper made another signal for the other three to pass. Kowalski constantly stumbled over his feet, considering he didn’t remember any of the training he’d had. But Private, being as concerned as expected from the young cadet, was...

While the other penguins fished on the boat, Private sat on the dock, sticking his feet in the water. The penguin, auk felt the samaki dash under his legs. A gust of wind nearly blew him over, scattering his Peanutbutter Winkies out of their bag.
Something smooth bumped his legs. Squinting, he peered into the water. An unfamiliar face stared into his. It was deeply sadden and filled with despair. The eyes were unforgettably a milky white. She was an astonishing creature.
Private was stunned. The rest of the team noticed.
"Private, wewe okay, over there?" Skipper called.
The shivering penguin, auk didn't and...

Not many guys think about what it would be like to be utterly bored. Some don't even know the feeling. I recall a few dull momments in my chickhood, but the boredom I was under was ridiculas. I'd undergone torture in the battle station, but I was sure that, that night in that cell had to be the worst torture yet. It's bad enough to have to sleep on the cold, wet floor with nothing to do, no one to talk to, and only the rats to keep wewe company, but when the gaurd starts singing..sweet mother macarthur I think that's got to be well exceding agony. He wasn't a talented singer either. He was awful....

The Lemurs' conversation

Julien: Maurice, I wanna smoothie so gimme!

Maurice: Coming right up. *starts blender*

Ten sekunde later…

Julien: Maurice! Where is my smoothie! What part of gimme do wewe not understand?! Gim au Me!

Maurice: wewe asked ten sekunde ago. It takes up to two dakika to make a smoothie.

Julien: Then do it as quickly as wewe can!

Maurice: *puts banana, ndizi in the blender* Okay, your majesty.

Mort: Can I help?

Maurice: Just stay away from Julien's feet.

Mort: I'll try! *runs over and hugs the Julien's feet* Oops!

Julien: Maurice! Get him off me!

Maurice: I thought wewe wanted a smoothie....

Finally the lights flashed on, and without having any contact with the door, Skipper and Private witnessed it slam open before their own eyes. "Come on," Skipper said. "No, no, I can't go in there! No!" Private whined like he was in a trance. Skipper grasped his flipper, and dragged him inside. Skipper kept his grip tight until he found Kowalski and Rico kwa the stairs. "Are wewe both all right?!" Skipper asked startled. "Yes, but something happened in the basement." Kowalski alisema out of breath. "All right, Rico, take Private upstairs and keep an eye on him. Kowalski, you're coming with me."...

I remember that still moment when near father and son gazed into each other's eyes. Leeland's gray eyes were filled with so many emotions I could hardly understand; yet I had quite a few feelings milling around inside of me as well. Leeland seemed as though he could almost say, 'What the heck..' Then he really DID say it. His voice trailed off and his beak alisema something inaudible. I looked down at my blood-stained feathers. Then it hit me. This looked perfectly clear that I'd killed the general. I knew full well that I hadn't, but Leeland and his armed companions didn't know so. I didn't have...

Still Skipper's View

"Yes!" the man cried. "I knew it! Time is frozen!"
I tell kwa tone on voice that the man was Kowalski.
"Hey, how did I get all the way up here?" the man (Kowalski) asked himself.
He pulled up his new hand and looked at it.
"Ahhh!! Fingers!" he screamed.
"Told ya it wasn't the Stopwatch," Johnson said, who had got out of a bunk.
"And that is why wewe shouldn't disobey my orders," I joked.
By now, we were all out of our hiding spaces.
"Stop making all those weird noises, Skipper and Johnson," Kowalski said. "I can't understand a word wewe two are saying!"
"Of course!" Ivy said....

I looked around the clearing. My eyes falling on a black and white form beside me. He was soaked in blood. I put a flipper on the penguin's chest. He was dead as doornail. I couldn't have been wrong. I'd kissed death before. I knew death when it was present in a body. And it was in this penguin's body. I shivered. Who had killed him? Then it hit me like a tidal wave. Where was Hans? Had he been shot too? I looked around. No one was there. I got to my feet and walked a distance. If Hans had been shot surely he wouldn't have gotton this far. Then another thought entered my mind. I froze. Was...

Alex & Maurice...

Alex & Maurice raced through the jungle, following the sound of the weeping. The sound grew slightly louder the closer they got. They finally stopped when they realized that they heard the weeping coming from behind them. "Alex! How could we have missed him? Mort! Where are you?!" Maurice alisema as they turned around & began walking in the other direction. "I am here!" They heard Mort cry, but they still did not see him. "Mort! Where are you!? We still can't see you!" Maurice yelled. "I am in this hole & I can't get out!"

Alex & Maurice found where Mort was....

Rico climbed up the kiti, kiti cha and luggage, that was in his way to the brief false comfort of land. Kowalski wasn't far behind him. For them at that moment it was every penguin, auk for himself. Skipper soon made his way out, not realizing that one of his men was still in the death trap.
A frightened voice called out from the descending car. It was Skipper's worst nightmare. "Help, Skippah, don't let me fall!" Private yelped helplessly from the backseat, holding his lunacorn with his foot jammed and stuck under the crushing weight of all the luggage. "I'm stuck!" He cried.

"Okay, the best route and time would be at 9:45, and through the series of air vents," Ivy explained. "We can drop down into Alice's office around 9:50, when she should be having her morning snack. If we can change the records in 10 minutes, we will be good, and can get out with 5 dakika to spare."
"Great idea, Ivy!" Skipper said. "Now that's what I call a brain!"
Kowalski scowled at Skipper's compliment to Ivy. I then looked at the clock and realized that it was already 9:42.
