It kind of depends on how old wewe are. In middle school, people get whatever colors they want and change them for holidays and whatnot. In high-school, people usually get one subtle color au no color at all. But they're your braces. It's totally up to you. I've never had any, so I'm only speaking from what I've seen, not experience.

^ I know, which is why I got silver after that. It's just the illusion that the braces ARE your teeth/part of your teeth, au something, so it would look like your teeth are the color of your braces.
