Do wewe have an accent? If so what are some words wewe pronounce differently from those around you?

I usually say;

- 'Ta' instead of 'to'.
- 'Ya'll' instead of 'you all'
- Things like 'jumpin' instead of 'jumping'
- 'Cause' instead of 'because'

And I have issues pronouncing;

- Hollow
- Girl
- Probably
*
Say Hollow 3:)

Since I lived the first 15 years of my life in southern Maine, I have a Maine accent. Although I do pronounce certain words the British way but that was influenced kwa watching too many British shows.

I thought I didn't but I grew up in this really small town my whole life and then last mwaka I moved to the city in the same state just maybe a hundred miles away, and I found out some people in my new school thought I was a European exchange student au something because I had this really different accent. I never noticed. I mean, same state, different towns but, I didn't know my nyumbani area would have developed its own accent...weird. >.>

My family says I talk all southern and crap (and maybe so) but my accent isn't as heavy as theirs.

And well....now that this has been brought up, I never usually pay much attention to my words. Though I do pronounce "talk" like "tawk" (basically, I never say the "L" in "Talk" like the rest do) Same goes for "walk"

Sometimes my words do seem conjoined though.

Like "Wat'cha doin'?"
"Ou'side" (Outside)
Sometimes I say "ta" and "tha"
"in'na minute" (in a)

I've got a kiwi accent i.e. someone from New Zealand.
It's one of the hardest accents to imitate I think... I mean I've never seen anyone who wasn't a kiwi pull off the accent well x) They just end up sounding Australian (and yes there's a big difference xP)

I am somewhere between RP and West Country (both British accents). In general I sound quite RP but phrases and pronunciations from the West Country slip in. I also have a little bit of an Australian sometimes (more in phrases than pronunciation) and I have a slight lisp, so my 'f's, 'v's and 'th's are a bit mixed up.
