Blair's nuptials?

1. Why is dowry so much? Blair is rich but apparently the dowry will drive her bankrupt. A dowry for a King can't be zaidi than 5 million max (Princess Diana au someone's was only 2 million). Louis isn't even from a large country where the dowry would be a lot. Besides is Blair form "Manhattans Elite" then how can't she afford the dowry?
2. Georgina alisema releasing the picture of dan and blair kissing would cause Blair to get poor, but Blair only has to pay if she files a divorce. Technically, if Louis divorces Blair isn't it okay? The only way Blair has to pay is if she divorces him right?
