I like looking into in random moods and all and its pretty cool to research and all, but I am definately not for nor agree with people that are like "HE DID NOTHING WRONG. I LOVE HIM ERMEHGERD I WISH I COULD DATE HIM"

broooooooo being interested in true crime is absolutely not the same as excusing the crimes or the criminals. i know what you mean - about people who idolize serial killers and shit - but that's like. a minority of true crime fans lmao.

for ex. i'm just interested in hearing about the stories and motives. i'm interested in the really fucked up shit that people are capable of. like, how do u get to that point? why? it's not the same as idolizing criminals. also, i like survivor stories, of people who have beat the odds. i'm interested in hearing what people have to say about prison and treatment reform, the nature and nurture aspects of what makes serial killers, mental health, toxic masculinity, etc. in light of true crime cases / examples

^Oh yeah I know. Its just theres True Crime, then the True Crime Community on Tumblr and that community is a bit infamous and all so I had to establish that.

I personally find it interesting but I dont find it one of my most commonly occuring interests

True crime is interesting, though like some have said I wouldn't say that I admire or believe a person who is convicted of a crime. There are some strange people out there, like the ones that believe that Charles Manson did nothing wrong. He did, he was a psycho. He may not have commited the murders but he was a part of it and he did some pretty messed up things before the Manson family came to be. I could never admire or idolize a murderer. As I said, it's interesting and I like reading about different people who've commited horrible crimes and watching crime shows like Criminal Minds.

I`ve been binging on crime documentaries lately. Probably watched also some true crime amongst them.

Sometimes it was interesting enough but not that much.

I still wouldnt say it's an overly active part of my life but I am very interested in it. I also wanted to be a detective for a large portion of my life, which goes to say that I probably dont idolize killers lol.

Not as interested in it as I once was- in fact I have to be really careful with it- but I still find the topic incredibly interesting.

I'm very, very interested. Especially serial killers.
