those stupid writers got too proud & arrogant for their own good, all they've written has been crap and the mashabiki still watching are just hopelessly hoping that something good will come out of it. It never has in this show! I was 'hoping' for that too (not that I want ngome hurt of course) but it could have made Beckett realize how much she cared for him but she's not ready for a relationship so that's why SHE got shot instead (they were after her anyway not him) & now she knows how ngome feels.
