First, let me get this straight: I'm not a shabiki of Twilight. In fact, I hate it. But I can see why everyone's so hyped up about it.

wewe see, I've recently been introduced to a new theory- The Twelve-Year-Old girl theory. It's mostly used in music, like for maarufu ikoni like Hannah Montana, Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers, but Twilight also fits into this catagory.

What is the Twelve-Year-Old girl theory, wewe might ask? Well, let's just look at people at the age of twelve first. When wewe turn twelve, you're on the thin line between childhood and the teen years. You're young and vulnerable, wewe want to have fun, yet still remain composed and cool to your peers. It's also the time where you're most prone to follow trends and fads, just because everyone else is doing it and/or it's popular. This may include good things, for example, yoga au whatever, au bad stuff like drugs. (NOTE: this doesn't include all twelve-year-olds. Some remain to being themselves au just being neutral).

This also applies to Twilight. The emotional abuse and lust is bad, but yet girls like it. Why? Maybe pressure from the rabid mashabiki at their schools are so great that they pretend to squeal over it. au maybe it's because they don't have enough experience with vitabu to tell the good ones from the bad ones. (NOTE: Again, this doesn't apply to all twelve-year-olds, just the majority of them). The Twelve-Year-Old girl theory covers both of these points. I'm not calling any of wewe Twilight mashabiki dumb, just that maybe you're a little book/romance-naive.

I would like to add a little sub-theory to that theory: a little somthing that I (and the Latins) would like to call: 'argumentum ad populum', which means 'appeal to the people'. A logical fallacy that some really #1 Twilight mashabiki use,'argumentum ad populum' suggests that if many people believe it, then it must be true. It's also an opression of opinion, and has resulted in many tragic events in history, like the Holocaust.

If wewe don't fully understand 'argumentum as populum', then let's put it this way: If many people believed that Jupiter was made of chocolate, would you? Maybe, maybe not. Would it be true? Not without proof, it wouldn't.

There's also this theory called 'the perfect man theory', which I kinda made up. Girls like Twilight because it has perfect Edward and his sparkly-coated, Adonis-like body. I understand that everybody wants true upendo and all that crap, but it doesn't necessarily have to come in the form of a fictional character. Also, no man is perfect, I can tell wewe that.

Now, these three theories do not cover all fans, especially the sane fans, but it's how I think Twilight came to be so popular. Hoped wewe liked it. If wewe didn't, then wewe can find me on here, the C.A.T. club, au the AAR club.

Before I begin, I’d like to set one thing straight: I’m not against Twilight fans. I respect wewe and your opinions. I just have different ones. These reasons are opinion and fact mixed together. Please don't disrespect me for my opinions. Also, warning: This will be long.

After completely the Harry Potter series, I looked for the inayofuata “big thing.” Being in middle school, the inayofuata “big thing” was the Twilight Saga. Sure, why not. I read them through once. I didn’t upendo it. I didn’t hate it. It was just another book. I never laughed, au cried. It never pulled any emotion out of...

Dolores Jane Umbridge… can ANYONE forgive her? And yet, despite being so horrendously evil, she is a very interesting character.
She is very loyal, because we know how she remained on Fudge’s side through the whole dilemma. She is also very easy to hate, for she gave Harry countless detentions for telling the truth. We know very little about Dolores; surely Rowling knows more. She has always planned her characters to the death – one reason why Harry Potter makes a very interesting read.
Back on the topic of Umbridge, we have to accept that she could have had a childhood like Snape –...

So I am kusoma reasons as to why Twilight mashabiki think Twilight is better than Harry Potter. I just want to make it clear; there is a big difference between liking one series better than another, and one series actually being better than another. I also want to reply to some of the zaidi common ones I've seen.

"Twilight has zaidi love!"
Okay, Twilight does not have zaidi upendo than Harry Potter kwa any means. Twilight has a lot of obsessive lust, which is often mistaken for love, but they are quite different.

Why is their relationship lust? Why isn't it love?

Well, what do Bella and Edward do together?...
